Does exactly what I would expect. I’ve wanted an app to watermark images with my logo. I uploaded my (color) logo and it made it a translucent watermark. At first I was using it through the App section, then I realized I can use it on the product page itself so each time I create a new item I apply the watermark and I’m set.
