This is a great app that takes care of a notoriously tricky aspect of the implementation. It does exactly what is required for implementing and managing hreflang tags. If you have any issues, support will promptly investigate and fix them.

Hreflang Tags is a great app! They've made what's normally a complex setup, very easy and straightforward. The out of the box mapping by SKU saves so much time as well. Their support is very fast and helpful every time. Thank you!

We have separate stores in bi-lingual countries and stores in the same language across specific ccTLD's. This makes it hard to implement correct href lang tags in shopify. This app solves the problem. It's basically very user friendly. There were a few issues setting it up but the support was great and everything was set up correctly for us. Very happy with this solution.

Great tool, and completely necessary if you're forced to run multiple Shopify instances. We saw significant improvements in our search rankings and traffic within days of installing the app. It's easy and straightforward to use, and works reliably. No complaints!

Review edited after 3+ years of usage: Great app. Does exactly what it promises to do. We're using it since years to have a clean hreflang setup for products, collections, articles and more across 4 regional expansion stores. The app had a massive overhaul recently and is now faster and even easier to setup / maintain. In combination with the awesome Customer Support by Joshua and his team - fast & very responsive - the update of our initial 4-star rating just after installation was definitely worth an update to 5-stars.

As an ecommerce store owner there is always a million and one things worry about, by installing the Multi-Store Hreflang Tags app it takes all the hassle out of doing work manually and I can be confident that my Hreflang tags are implemented correctly and following googles best practices.

UPDATE - luckily, the devs were able to help, and the issue is resolved. Still deducting one star for the high price and the UI that needs an update. So far, I'm disappointed with this app. The setup was confusing, to say the least, the UI is quite annoying with those hoovering popups, but the worst part is that we cannot save our settings due to a security update. We reached out to support, and they replied within 24h that they reproduced the issue and would work on a fix. However, today is Saturday, and I am still waiting for news. I asked if we should expect a response during the weekend, and there was no response either (I guess that's a no). Our store is missing all lang tags, which can impact our ranks, and we need to be in this situation for at least 2-3 days. We hope to hear back by Monday. It's also $27/mo, which is expensive.

I have just removed the app as I've installed weglot and the hreflang is included. I'm not overly impressed with this app. It works well (I THINK) but it was only installed for about 10 days. However in my opinion it's overpriced and the support is incredibly slow. Almost 24 hours for a response from support each time. I think they're based in Australia so the time differences must have caused some issues. But that being said, support weren't very attentive when they did reply either. So today I've removed the app and emailed support to remove any code left behind. I believe in being fair with my reviews. This app doesn't offer suitable support for the price!
