Does what it says on the tin! Quick, good price, reduces image size - and I had already run another app on the images before I came to this one

This application removed all of our images from Shopify store from all of the variations. If you want to spend time on re uploading your images back to Shopify then this is perfect application for you. Would NOT recommend it!

Our engineers thoroughly analyzed our system and the logs for your account and couldn’t find any problems on our end. We completely understand your frustration and offered our help to identify the actual cause of the problem. We have a reputation for responsiveness and our desire to help, even if the problem lies somewhere else. If you had accepted our offer to help, we could have contacted the Shopify Tier 2 Support and asked them to check the Shopify logs for your store. This could have helped to determine the actual problem. Since images are one of the most important assets of your store, our application backups original images before making any changes. You could have easily restored the whole set of images with a press of a button. We are sorry that you didn’t give us the opportunity to help you identify the actual cause of the problem. Amazing app, really great support service too. Easy to implement, cheapest optimizer on Shopify. 10/10 would recommend!

I saved 192 megs on 528 images... 72%!. The app made it easy to do and it took a minimal amount of time to perform the task. ALSO, and importantly, contrary to another review, NO ALT TEXT WAS REMOVED. The app did not affect anything in the Alt Text or SEO. Last, the support staff contacted me immediately with my initial inquiries on operation, etc. The app also clearly allows you to RESTORE, View Details, Compare File Size...AND even compare the visual difference in files - ALL WITH A SIMPLE CLICK OF A BUTTON. To reiterate - the support is awesome....not that you need it anyway :-)

Vitalii Is very responsive - even on a Sunday. We had 8500 images to optimize. It took us 5 years to compile this many images. And they will be optimized in a day. Good Work and thanks!

set and forget. It continually optimises pictures every time you add a new product. It's not like you already have enough to do like write up compelling product descriptions and ALT txt etc...

We are constantly uploading image products and swapping them this app speeds things up ! Easy to use ! Must have for any shopify store!

Update 10/09/17: Updating my review from one star to four. Developer emailed after I posted my review and said my support request went into his spam folder and he didn't see it, explaining why he never responded. Offered to re-optimize the original images free of charge. I appreciate his effort to make things right. ---------------------- App worked fine, until I was having an issue with a few images and used the restore function to see if that made a difference. Turned out that after restoring all of my images and figuring out that wasn't the problem, there was no way to re-optimize those pics. I sent a support request asking if there was a way to do this, and no response after a week. They did, however, manage to send a request for a review during this time. I deleted this app and installed a different (and free) app that does the same thing but that allows you to optimize and restore the same pictures as many times as you want without issue.

Changed theme recently. Made the rookie mistake of not checking site speeds. Weve had poor sales since. Checked site speed, over 20 seconds load speed!!! This app sorted this perfectly and quickly. Thank you, www.helpforpaws.co.uk

We use this app in two of our stores. It's easy and affordable. We like that, unlike another app we tried, we can review the before and after side-by-side and have a nice window of opportunity to undo any we don't like.

Great app! It compressed nearly 700 images and saved me 6.4 MB of space, all at a competitive price. My site is nice and zippy now!
