Hands down this application is a must have...optimized everyone of our images that we had optimized already and brought the overall site image size down 32% in 5 minutes...that's amazing.

When I initially began uploading product photos to our site, I didn't even think about image optimization and suddenly had thousands of images that were obliterating some of my customers' computers, even my own at times. This app works wonders correcting my mistake. It works exactly as intended, and quickly. It's incredibly affordable and saves me the hassle of having to even think about image resolution; instead I can focus on getting photos up quickly while the app does the rest. I absolutely recommend it to anyone with lots of products photos.

This app saves so much time for us. We have lots of images of our brass band concerts so to find a tool to make them all web ready and google friendly in a few clicks is just awesome.

Easy and a great value. Upped my "Test My Site with Google" score from 64 to 69 for mobile and 80 to 89 for desktop. Test done about an hour apart.

I like this up! It optimized 821 images (108.0 MB) saving 36.1 MB (33%) total file size! I totally recommended, good price that doesn't break the bank $0.01 per image.

easy to use and make the website much faster. it's worth the money for sure. sorry to change the review from 5 stars to 1 star but that's what you get when you remove the (alt text images) anytime we optimize the images. this is our 6th time filling up the alt texts for over 2100 items,,, so much work! and it hurt our ranking too. and today we find out what app is causing this so yesssssss! 1 star and it's not changing

We are sorry to hear you had these troubles, but we do not agree with this allegation and confident that it wasn’t our app that removed your alt texts. We are familiar with updating alt texts because we have offered another app since 2016 which specializes in Alt Text Optimization. The Image Optimizer app didn’t have the ability to update alt texts in 2017. In addition, you stated that your alt texts were removed several times, and you had to fill up the alt texts 6 times. It couldn't be our app, because our app updated your images only once. We completely understand your frustration and offered our help to identify the actual cause of the problem. If you had accepted our offer to help, we could have contacted the Shopify Tier 2 Support and asked them to check the Shopify logs for your store. This could have helped to determine the actual problem. We are sorry that you didn’t give us the opportunity to help you identify the actual cause of the problem. Does what it says. Renders all our product images much smaller which helps page loads and SEO. I haven't seen much loss of image quality. https://BeachAndDog.com

Every shopify site that contains images should use this app! We reduced our image sizes by 30% which made a noticeable increase in page load time yet didn't affect our perceived image quality. Super easy to use and takes just under 1 minute to start the process. Great app and would highly recommend!
