This app is super easy to use. The response time when needing help is super fast. Ilya fixed our issue straight away. Highly recommend.

The UI can use some improvements. An option to import subscribers from a CSV file would be nice, but the overall very useful app and great customer service.

What anyone wants in an app is configurability. The developer does not have to worry about meeting your needs because whatever it is you want to change, you can easily change yourself. I contacted them today and Alexander sent me nice directions to make the changes so the Back in Stock app looks exactly as I want it. I cannot think of anything I would want to change. Every website should have this app. It's that simple!

The app has proved extremely useful to us, and has helped loads of our customers during the busiest time of year for us - it definitely reduces the amount of work we do to keep users up to date with stock on popular items. Any issues that we have had have been ironed out extremely quickly - the last one sorted within an hour and a half from first contact; and that is not something that happens very often these days! Friendly helpful staff. The design of the widget is a little clumsy, but we've been able to adapt it nicely for our purposes all the same.

The app didnt work, it was producing the popup even when the variant that was out of stock was NOT selected. I put in a ticket and it was answered quickly, but told to wait 24 hours whilst dev looked at it. They then came back to me saying it was a problem with the java script of my theme, bit of an irony as the app description claims it works with ANY theme! Ok so that was not such a big problem, the problem was that they said to fix it needed custom work and the charge was $60!!!!!!!! Oh and would have to wait another 24 hours at least for it to be fixed!!! Now I am sorry but this is a paid app, that is not cheap at $19.95 per month, claims to work with ANY template and then when it doesnt they expect me to pay to fix it! How do i even know its something wrong with the template java and not theirs. Absolutely appalled that they are allowed to get away with this. Especially when trial period is low at 6 days and the fault was not noticed until variant had gone out of stock. Really what a scam this is! UPDATE - Thanks for the awful reply to my review. There is no custom solution in my template, its the template standard solution. You are missing the point of my review clearly 1. Your app description says it works with ALL templates, that is a lie. Also called false advertising, which is a crime here in the EU, not to mention totally unpro! 2. The fact is its a paid app and when it doesnt work, you are charging people to fix the problems. My template works just fine, its your app that is not working with it lol! Your app should be avoided at all costs, no one should be charging their customers to a fix something when the app doesnt work, especially when the descripton reads 'WORKS WITH ALL TEMPLATES'. Shameful!

We've been using this app for a few years now. It does what it claims without issue. The support has also been quite fast, we are happy with what we've paid for. 1 thing that we like to see improvements is that we can manage the notification for a customer and search for the customer instead of going through a lot of pages

I had an issure with the install. But tech support was able to quickly resolve and we are already accumulating requests.

If you remove a product and add it back you will lose subscriber data. Understandable. The biggest function is to send emails when your item is back in stock. It does a poor job of this. Yes they say it checks every 2hrs, so there is that gap. But when it does check, rather than send all the emails, it just trickles them out, a few at a time, every couple hours. So much for planning a day of heavy orders on product you restock when it takes so long to get the word out. Im sure this is a sign of cheapness on Spur IT's side in not wanting to pay the cost associated with heavy email sending. At $20/month for an app you dont use regualarly, it dissappoints.

The app has not been working on Safari or Explorer - notified the developer over a week ago and haven't received a reply. Instead of the pop up box to enter an email, a blank gray box appears when using those browsers.

Terrible communication and customer service. Pushed out an update earlier this week, which seemed to break the app. Whenever we tried to get through, it would either give a 501 error, say that there is an "Internal Error", or just never load. Contacted customer service both on email and their phone line -- the phone line was no help, and on email it seemed like they didn't even read it as their "solution" was something that was not related to our problem at all. All of this happened a day before we had a big launch, and caused a negative impact to our business because 1.) we were driving users to sign up for the upcoming products, and they obviously couldn't and 2.) for all the customers that had previously signed up, we couldn't send email notifications out to. We had contacted our Shopify customer service managers, who then contacted the app developers, but all they got from this team was that the app was working fine. With such half-hearted help we will be looking for a new app.

It has helped us tremendously! increased sales, and allows us to know how to order going forward. Highly recommend this for small to medium online businesses. Lisa Edit: We originally gave a 5-star review, but after using this app for quite some time, we need to change to 3. The app has changed to notifying customers on an arbitrary 4-hour cycle. We have some products that come in limited quantities, and most sell out before the app can send out the emails. This has led to many unhappy customers, who were looking forward to receiving an email about a product, only to receive the email hours after the product had sold out.

We have been using this app for our store less than 1 week and already have stock requests for over 50 items/customers. This has helped us to determine what items we should restock. The app is so very easy to use and the email template is quite simple. Thanks!

It works exactly as you want it to work and the best part is that their customer service is super nice and super fast to solve any doubt or issue you may have. Excellent job! Excellent app!
