The Spur It App works very well. The pop up option allows for email input on the product screen. Restock email comes up soon after the item is back in stock.
This app is super easy to use. The response time when needing help is super fast. Ilya fixed our issue straight away. Highly recommend.
The UI can use some improvements. An option to import subscribers from a CSV file would be nice, but the overall very useful app and great customer service.
What anyone wants in an app is configurability. The developer does not have to worry about meeting your needs because whatever it is you want to change, you can easily change yourself. I contacted them today and Alexander sent me nice directions to make the changes so the Back in Stock app looks exactly as I want it. I cannot think of anything I would want to change. Every website should have this app. It's that simple!

The app has proved extremely useful to us, and has helped loads of our customers during the busiest time of year for us - it definitely reduces the amount of work we do to keep users up to date with stock on popular items. Any issues that we have had have been ironed out extremely quickly - the last one sorted within an hour and a half from first contact; and that is not something that happens very often these days! Friendly helpful staff. The design of the widget is a little clumsy, but we've been able to adapt it nicely for our purposes all the same.

We've been using this app for a few years now. It does what it claims without issue. The support has also been quite fast, we are happy with what we've paid for. 1 thing that we like to see improvements is that we can manage the notification for a customer and search for the customer instead of going through a lot of pages

Terrible communication and customer service. Pushed out an update earlier this week, which seemed to break the app. Whenever we tried to get through, it would either give a 501 error, say that there is an "Internal Error", or just never load. Contacted customer service both on email and their phone line -- the phone line was no help, and on email it seemed like they didn't even read it as their "solution" was something that was not related to our problem at all. All of this happened a day before we had a big launch, and caused a negative impact to our business because 1.) we were driving users to sign up for the upcoming products, and they obviously couldn't and 2.) for all the customers that had previously signed up, we couldn't send email notifications out to. We had contacted our Shopify customer service managers, who then contacted the app developers, but all they got from this team was that the app was working fine. With such half-hearted help we will be looking for a new app.
It has helped us tremendously! increased sales, and allows us to know how to order going forward. Highly recommend this for small to medium online businesses. Lisa Edit: We originally gave a 5-star review, but after using this app for quite some time, we need to change to 3. The app has changed to notifying customers on an arbitrary 4-hour cycle. We have some products that come in limited quantities, and most sell out before the app can send out the emails. This has led to many unhappy customers, who were looking forward to receiving an email about a product, only to receive the email hours after the product had sold out.
It works exactly as you want it to work and the best part is that their customer service is super nice and super fast to solve any doubt or issue you may have. Excellent job! Excellent app!

Our customers LOVE the "notify me when it's back in stock" feature. We love the ability to export data to csv. Well done!
It's a great app and most importantly it saves the most important thing we have... time! We used to get customer calls all the time asking, 'when will XXX' be back in stock and then we had to make a note of the customer's e-mail address and remember to let them know. This app saves all that hassle and we're amazed at how many customers have signed up to be notified. Far more than ever would have phoned us. We've also seen a real upsurge in sales as soon as the new stock arrives because the e-mails go out automatically to customers who are obviously waiting but we wouldn't have known. Automation, efficiency and maximising sales opportunities are the key to successful e-commerce and this app really helps on all fronts!
This has been one of the easiest apps we have installed and used to date! I was able to custom design (VERY EASILY!!) the pop-up window to match our theme, too.
A great app for allowing customers to sign up to be notified when a product is back in stock. Saves us time in having to answer emails asking about out-of-stock items. I only wish that the language in the templates was written in better English.
