We installed this app, hoping it would help with indexing; however, it not only doubles Shopify's indexing but also slows the store's speed. We tried contacting customer support, but they responded only after a few hours. The support chat widget is not working. You can only send a message there; there is no way to receive a chat response. We have decided to uninstall the app and request compensation for the paid subscription.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m sorry this felt frustrating, and I’d like to clarify a few points for context. We currently offer email support only, with a stated response time of up to 24 hours. In your case, we replied in under two hours and also offered a video call to better understand and resolve the issues, but we haven’t received a response yet. The chat widget allows messages to be sent, but it is not live chat at this time. Regarding indexing, Shopify’s IndexNow support is still experimental and typically covers less than 10% of actual site changes. InstaIndex remains the only officially supported IndexNow implementation for Shopify, which can be verified on Bing’s website at https://www.bing.com/indexnow. In addition to basic submissions, InstaIndex supports advanced IndexNow features that Shopify’s experimental implementation does not, including intelligent submissions based on real content changes, support for localized URLs via Shopify Markets, and better handling of new, updated, and deleted pages. On performance, the core IndexNow functionality does not add any code to store pages. Optional features are lightweight and only load if enabled. Instant Navigation adds under 1 KB of speculation rules, Schema adds a small structured data JSON and is better optimized than most schema apps, and the 404 monitor loads a 1–2 KB script only on 404 pages.
