The information is never accurate - it warns us we are overstocked on items we know we can't keep in stock. It says we are out of items that shopify says we are not - it just seems kind of buggy and expensive for how much customisation you need to do to get it started. We're switching to doing this in a free excel sheet that we can control.

Placing POs used to be one of the more painful parts of running my business. I'd use spreadsheets and sales data to estimate future sales. Since using Inventory Planner, ordering inventory has become SO much easier. I spend a tenth of the time that I used to and my inventory has become much more efficient because inventory planner is better at predicting sales than my spreadsheets. Highly highly recommended

Amazing application that has saved me countless hours managing stock. The sales forecasting has also been incredibly useful as it's helped the business stay in stock, free up cash and increase revenue. The amazing level of detail in the reporting is a huge bonus as well. By far the most useful shopify app I've ever installed.

One suggestion: I would LOVE if I could export our inventory in a clean layout to share with wholesale customers once a week. All the catalog-making apps don't include inventory. All the inventory apps don't look good enough for sales materials. I think you guys can create a simple easy solution.

Hi to anyone looking for the best inventory app available for Shopify. I have a very ''strangely'' configured B2B store, for really specific needs. I have tried all other inventory apps, and nothing was even close to what I was looking for. -Easy to access and precise Inventory Data, any data and graph for products, collections, brands, vendors, for any period of time, and also easy to use ''compare-to-date''. -Easy to access and precise Forecasting for products, but also collection of products I am probably their worst customer because my store is soooo tweaked-up, I had to request over 20 special configurations/modifications, sometimes major ones, but they've always responded quickly, very effectively, and so professionally. I've been using Inventory Planner for a month now and it's truly an amazing solution to filling a key part of the ecommerce jigsaw. There's nothing quite like it in the competitive marketplace. As a read-only inventory management platform, it slots straight in to my existing workflow without the need for the huge reshuffle required of moving to DEAR/Unleashed/TradeGecko/Stitch/Brightpearl. It blows any of the cheaper inventory stocktake / COGS apps currently available on the Shopify app store right out of the water. I've just spent months battling with accounting and inventory management issues as a result of my own store's growing pains. Trying to do atomic inventory in QBO? Forget it. All the Shopify<->QBO communication apps? A crapshoot. Non stop problems, gotchas, walking on eggshells. And then along comes Inventory Planner - the right tool for the job. Without the anal accounting restrictions of a double entry accounting package, it handles pre-orders and difficult order-fulfillment-invoice patterns without breaking a sweat. Bundles and virtual kits? No problamo, it now even distributes virtual profit based on the relative prices of component SKUs. SKUs as unique identifiers? And Variant IDs as well? No drama. Multi currency? Separate vendor costs and landed costs? Too easy. Where every other solution I evaluated had show stopping problems, Inventory Planner's more "free form" approach gave me exactly what I needed: * Profit sliced by date, category, vendor * Periodic stocktake and COGS, complete with granular XLS export of the figures * Beautiful monthly graphs of revenue, profit, sales, inventory count and value * Intelligent re-ordering advice, complete with per-variant control over unexpected or irregular sales events, and days when I was sold out * Context relevant bundle/virtual kit analysis * Pre-orders no problem * Fair pricing On top of that, the developers have been lightning fast to fix any bugs and implement suggestions. I don't normally bother to write reviews, but this product deserves all the support it should get as it's a truly unique offering in the space. No frills, all results.

We love Inventory Planner. The app itself is easy to use and provides all the additional inventory management support we need, and the customer service/support has been phenomenal.

Been using it for over a year, we manage thousands of items for sale, and more than 50 suppliers, Inventory Planner has taken away the "drama" and time expense to place new orders, they also have analytics on what you have on overstock so you can promote and it even integrates with google analytics to check how many times has been viewed. It is just great! And to close this, I just ask theme to have bigger pictures of the products on the Purchase orders so the suppliers can read and see the products to avoid mistakes and they did it in 15 minutes, that was not even an option and they just implemented in less than 15 minutes. Its worth every penny!

Just started using this app for our online store for tracking inventory that we have on order. I am very pleased so far with the ease of use. And when I couldn't figure something out at 2:45 AM, the online help answered within a few minutes, solved my problem and gave me step by step instructions on how to enter the data I needed. Great app so far.

Love this app! A very cost-effective way to track your inventory correctly. This system forecasts sales based on prior sales and seasonality! It gives you a recommendation on replenishment which is huge for our company because we manufacture our products. This means I know precisely how many products to make and balance under and overstock properly for a much improved cash flow and inventory turnover ratio! Don't do it manually like I was anymore and get this app!

Just installed earlier today and am figuring it all out, but it seems super comprehensive and will help me streamline my ordering process. A bit overwhelming with all of the features, but Oleg helped me out greatly, and even added a feature that we needed to be able to use the app.

This is an incredible app. We use it constantly to manage our forecasting, budgeting and replenishment - we wouldn't be able to cope without it! No matter how many SKUs you have or whatever your complexity, Oleg and team can definitely help you out to simplify your buying and planning efforts tremendously. Definitely recommended - trial it first if you need to, they're really knowledgeable!

This app is provides all you need to effectively manage your inventory, purchases and budget. I have seen nothing quite like it in the industry. It does the heavy calculating for you. The developer provides great solutions to customize what you need for your business. The support is fast and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend the App.

Love this app. We use it for most of our reporting. The developers are so helpful, we have been able to make a few special requests for custom reporting that were accommodated. Highly Recommended.

Inventory Planner was great before it was acquired by Bright Pearl. Now they are trying to lock their loyal customers into contract with terrible customer service and little feature updates. If you don't currently use this app, I don't recommend them. Bright Pearl is a terrible parent company. Try something like Cogsy.

I've been manually consolidating excel reports from Shopify for the past year and having all of the information available in one app is extremely convenient to see trends/stock levels. The app offers compatibility with Google Analytics as well, so there's multiple levels of data incorporated to forecast replenishment info. So far it gets the job done and can't wait to continue to learn more about how to use the app!

Inventory Planner app makes life super simple when it comes to bulk ordering. It takes into account all the sales data and forecasts and estimates the number of units we should order factoring in lead time and the review period - making ordering a bit more accurate than trying to sit and think about it! The customer service support is unreal - I explained the situation, what I needed done, and it was done within minutes. Fast response times is always a plus! Would definitely recommend this app to anyone that's looking for a forecasting tool.

This app is a blessing, I can't recommend it enough! It's saves us hours of admin every week, its great for our accounting, our stockists love it and it's even reduced errors. By my our calculation this app paid for itself in the first week we used it, and pays for itself every month within the first day - it's that efficient. It's also given us great insight into our stock holding. The team behind it are also superb, their support and responsiveness are the best we've come across.
