JsRates is the only way to go. I have tried so many different apps, from cheap to very expensive, and they all have so many little shortcomings and flaws. You see, our store has very complex shipping needs. In stock, back order, made to order, drop-ship, LTL freight. You name it. And I spent years trying to find the right software but always feeling like I was putting a band aide on the problem but never solving it. This all changed with JsRates. Using JavaScript to customize the rate process is honestly the only way to go, and this software is the perfect solution to do so. Since I'm not a developer, Behailu was very helpful in getting set up and running. And then from there I have been able to use AI to modify the code as needed for further tweaks. I can now do just about anything that I want when it comes to how shipping is calculated and quoted to the customer at check-out. It's fantastic and I would recommend to anyone JsRates as a very reasonably priced solution with unlimited flexibility. I honestly don't know what I would do without it now that I have fully integrated it into our tech. stack.

JsRates is a hidden gem. We have tried and tested so many shipping apps over the years and JsRates is by far the most flexible and powerful. We use a blend of shipping carriers that have different cut off times and delivery schedules (they only deliver to a certain postcode once per week for example) and using JsRates we able to deploy shipping estimates at checkout that are accurate and dynamic. Until I discovered the app I assumed it was an unsolvable problem on shopify checkout. It takes some persistence to get it working but Behailu is extremely responsive and generous with his time and we are stoked with the result. Highly recommended.
