The issue concerned the use of machine translation and bulk translation, as well as the question of whether translation words that had already been used could be restored retrospectively. The language in question was deleted directly in Shopify by the shop operator, i.e. you. When a language is deleted, Shopify's system removes all associated translations. In this case, translation credits that have already been used cannot be recredited, as they have already been processed and billed by the translation service. This was explained transparently by our support team. A technical problem in which pages "revert to the original language" or translations are not saved was not reported as an error and does not correspond to how Langify works. Translations remain as long as the respective language is available in Shopify. Nevertheless, in this case, we have already credited additional words as a gesture of goodwill and are continuing to strive to find a good solution for all parties. Langify can be used permanently free of charge; costs only arise for optional features such as machine translation, bulk translation, or custom content. Our support team is always available to clearly explain such processes in advance.
