We've been using the app since about five years. As we had some trouble with the old version, they recommended us to update to a new version. So far so good. Since the update a few things are not working. The support is really incompetent to help. We have been in contact now for two months. You wait at least two days for an answer, sometimes you don't hear anything for weeks. So far we have not been helped in any way. The support used to be really great. Now it's a disaster.

This app has been great for our online cake shop. It was easily customisable to suit our business and the customer service we received was outstanding. We have tried quite a few local delivery apps and find that this one is by far the best one.

I regret having to write this review but after suffering a significant loss of sales as a direct result of the app, we need to share our experience. We have used the Local Delivery app for around a year. Initially it was great - the app developers themselves directly handled any support requests and actually helped get everything set up in our store with lots of communication and advice. At some point, I believe earlier this year, the app was either sold or the support/development handed off to a new team. In itself this wasn't an issue until we started to notice problems a couple of months ago with the app functionality. Updates were rolled out, unannounced, in the app which completely broke functionality with our customers unable to use the service the app provides and therefore unable to checkout. We suffered lost sales as a result of this and the app update was rolled back which fixed things. The response to the issue was pretty slow and there was very little in the way of acknowledgement of having caused such a serious issue nor an apology at that time. Fast forward a couple of weeks and another update was rolled out unannounced, again breaking functionality and preventing people from using the services the app is supposed to provide. Again, sales were lost. This time customer service were very slow to respond and when they did one of their team, who I won't name, was pretty rude - having mentioned we were heading into our busiest season and needed the app to be functioning correctly we got the following response: "We are aware of your issue and it is a priority, it is quite a busy season for us all." Not the best of responses we felt and did receive an apology for the tone in a follow up email. Further app updates were rolled back and again things started working albeit with some known issues (the free delivery options were now no longer ticked by default in some cases - an annoying but manageable intermittent fault). Fast forward to earlier this week and we started to get messages from our customers saying that they could not proceed through the checkout pages after selecting options that the Local Delivery app handles. We noticed a significant drop off of more than 50% in sales from Monday evening which lasted through to Wednesday evening and we continuned to receive more messages from customers who found checkout pages were just hanging. We observed in real time customers going through the cart process then just disappearing as they got stuck at checkout. Worse still, these were not being captured by the abandoned checkout functions so could not be contacted to complete orders. Working with our web developer we were able to narrow the issue down to the Local Delivery app and on contacting support it was confirmed that there was a known issue with loading between checkout pages in some themes and that they'd been contacted by other customers about this. No one had bothered to contact us about any updates that had been rolled out or that there might be a known issue to be aware of - we were left for 2.5 days just seeing our sales drop off a cliff and having to troubleshoot ourselves. Customer service did respond quickly in the end and overnight rolled back a number of updates and hey presto, our sales are back to normal. However, we estimate that our lost sales were substantial and a direct result of the app not performing correctly for more than 2 days at the busiest time of year. I have requested that a senior member of staff contact us urgently to discuss and we're awaiting that contact as we speak but we are deeply unhappy with the reliability of the app, the lack of communication about any updates (so we could keep an eye in case it affects things) and general customer service levels. We are stuck with using the app during the rest of the busy season as simply do not have time or ability to implement a new season before Christmas but I would strongly urge others to consider different options. This has impacted our sales numbers significantly 3 times over a number of days in the last couple of months. So far we've been offered the occasional apology but nothing else of note. We are very unhappy but felt it important that we share our experience with others considering using the app.

I am using Shopify for my grocery store. This app has helped me offer local delivery and to be able to edit orders. Any issue I thought I had with this app was either explained on the support page or more importantly their support chat. I have never received such great customer service from any company. I could simply message them and get a response in no more than a minute. Their rep had solved every single issue I had when installing the app and got me up and running in the same day of install. Having this app solved the biggest road block I had getting my site up and running and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a local delivery option

This app is exactly what I was looking for as a florist. It was incredibly easy to set up. I love that you are able to have different areas serviced on different days. I also love that people have to select the date before getting to the checkout page which means you don't have a bunch of abandoned carts because people didn't check your delivery areas. Great, responsive customer support.

The app used to be great, it's now even better since the latest update. The ability to have different delivery days/times for different postcodes has saved us a huge amount of admin and hassle. We use the local delivery options to ensure our customers choose the correct day specific to their postcode. We limit the amount of deliveries per day, customise cut off times depending on day and schedule blackout days in advance for when we take a break. The app is easy to use, easy to modify and easy for our customers to use too. The support is 10/10 - Jess and Peter work hard to reply quickly to any emails and have always fixed any issues we've had. I'd recommend this app and developer to anyone who need local pickup/delivery options that are more customisable than the basic Shopify options.

Love this app so far. The customer support is excellent! Peter has been very helpful, and has answered all of my questions promptly! I recommend this app to anyone looking to offer a pick-up/delivery option to their store.

These guys are absolutely amazing! I have been working with them for over a year now and their app is constantly evolving. Every time I email I always receive a fantastic detailed response they are always so helpful. I look forward to growing my business with these guys in the coming years.

My eShop is focusing on local delivery only, in order to promote organic farming and reduce transportation. So I installed his app to check the country's postal codes so I can avoid the acceptation of orders outside of the country. It works perfectly for this purpose. In addition, I am really satisfied with the prompt and professional and intelligent support provided so far!

This app has AMAZING customer service. I had some issues, and after emailing back and forth every day for a week, uploading a video of my issues, they helped resolve it - always patiently and helpfully. The get started guide could be a touch clearer, but the functionality is exactly what I needed and the customer service gives them an A++ Updated review to gush just a bit more: I didn't realize there were many functions I wasn't using (customized checkout language, notifications, etc.) Integrating those into my shop has improved business flow for me and my customers. And I have to give a shout out to Peter and the rest of their team - I've never experienced such thorough, patient customer service in my life. This app is worth every penny to me and my small business.

Fast and clear customer service. We've tried numerous local delivery/pickup apps, and this has been the best. It is hassle-free and capable of meeting all of our needs. Best decision to switch to this app.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This app was a major upgrade from a prior app I was using by Globo and just a few dollars more. The Globo approach was cumbersome, making your delivery and pick-up options items that are added to the cart. It was not very user-friendly. This approach is much more friendly AND versatile. You have several different options for customizing the checkout process with this app. Finally, the customer service is top-notch. Peter was very attentive to my setup issues and was able to get me squared away in a short period of time.

Developers are always ready to help and to improve the features of the app. I'm really satisfied. The app helps me to deliver in a specific zip code area and allow my client to chose a date and time of shipment.

Brilliant app, great support, money well spent on this feature to manage our workload. we rely on the app to sort out deliveries ( a new thing for us due to lockdown). with the app now i am able to control workload and distribute demand and highlight availability. support is brilliant, the app is being continuously updated with super useful features. I thought this could help me a lot, but my site is in dark mode. And they didn't help me to make the input fields' content visible, it was white on white because of the dark mode.

Local Delivery is a straightforward app that makes the checkout process for our customers easy. Setting it up on our store was a breeze, and Peter was extremely helpful with any questions I had. Highly recommended.

We have different cutoffs depending on zipcodes and this sorts it all out! Really easy to use and great support!

Easy to download and install. Has all the features my store needs. Only thing I'm having trouble with is having the selections that the customers make show up on their order confirmation so they know what they selected. pls help!
