Stylethatman review for Lyst
Shopify is used mostly for start ups, we started on shopify, switched to another e-commerce provider, then back to shopify for the features. We feel we are established, sold on the high street, online, worldwide, well searched for brand With Lyst unless you're mega established (Adidas), or carry a well known brand (Gucci, Nike, Adidas) there is no point attempting to install this app. You won't get accepted, if rejected it encourages you to ask why with an email address which is then met with an automated reply as follows: "Hi there, Thank you so much for your interest in Lyst. By way of background, Lyst is used as a fashion search platform by our customers - they’re coming to us looking for specific items, rather than to browse and discover new brands. One of the key criteria we look for in new partners is therefore the level of search for the brand (along with positioning, pricing, number of SKUs etc). At present, the level of demand by the Lyst customer is too low for a partnership with you. We do however re-evaluate these criteria on a regular basis, so I will keep your details on file for now and be in touch should the situation change. Our best, The Lyst team" As said Shopify is predominantly used by start ups, small & medium sized businesses with little SEO, or online presence, most of which really can't provide the necessary requirements, and when they feel they can, its a no, not somewhere Lyst should be operating. Save yourself the hassle.
