Installed app and this did not work (Yuva theme). The field simply resumed blank on the product page after setting items to display. Contacted support for help. Didn’t know what the issue was (even after gaining access to my store) and escalated to developers who after 24 hours still had no response. Asked the support some basic questions about what I wanted the app to achieve and he did not know the answers. This surprised me - how can they not know what the app does? 24 hours later I re-contacted support and they said they has no reference of my call. App is now being uninstalled after 1 day as this is ridiculous.

We received an email from HulkApps informing us that there was a critical issue with Metafields and that they lost 689 of our media files and are unable to recover them. Their only solution is to offer us a $30 credit and a discount on their products. Absolutely unacceptable.

I was able to export Metafields, but I couldn't get them to import which is why I installed the app in the first place. Exports are extremely slow, the progress bar has said it is 100% for at least half an hour for the export I just ran for just one order.

Installed Metafields Master by Hulk Apps on the free plan a few years ago. Hulk support was great and just helped me determine i had never used it as i was cleaning up and removing apps in a big upgrade on my shop to apps that support Shopify 2.0. Keeping Metafields Master in case i need it as it is on the free plan as suggested by Hulk. My star rating is based on support only not on using the app.

It works. It's not "easy," intuitive or for the novice coder, but it works. My main issue with Metafields is that it always seems to cause issues when it's time to upgrade my theme (by Out of the the Sandbox). The Theme-Updater app doesn't like the custom code by Metafields.. although it might not like any custom code from anyone. In conclusion, if you can find away to organize your products/listings so that you can *avoid* using a variant-adder app like Metafields, DO IT. Break your product up into 6 products if you need to, so that you can get all the variants you need. All this aside, this app works as promised.

Really great platform for me to create fields. Would like it if it would separate by properties at the backend other than lumping it in one field {Note Attributions} but overall a good experience

Extraordinary tool. It has allowed us to enrich the product structure in order to improve Customer Experience, leading us to add value to the overall delivery of the content in ways that are not openly supported by the platform with the "out of the box" approach regarding metafields. This is the way to go if you don't want to or you can't afford a developer highly specialized on Shopify, because not even in Shopify Plus is that easy. If you come from WordPress, you probably have used the plugin "Advanced Custom Fields", well, this is their equivalent here. Really happy with your work. Thank you.
