Support has been extremely helpful, and the app works out the box with product mapping. Each time i've queried anything about my setup, they've made an update to suit my use case / explained what needs to change on my side. Really please with the support given.

This app does not perform as advertised. It does not handle any tax calculation or VAT deduction. It forces us to manually disable Shopify’s built-in “charge tax” setting, which already removes VAT at checkout. The only function it provides is a tax exemption declaration form. It does not calculate or apply VAT relief to prices, and it does not deduct VAT from VAT-inclusive prices. As a result, it cannot correctly separate VAT-paying customers from VAT-exempt customers when prices are already set VAT-free. The app description is misleading. It should be marketed as a VAT exemption form only, as it does not provide any automated VAT handling or tax calculation functionality.
Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to clarify that the app is not just a form-based solution. It automatically removes VAT charges for eligible customers and products, and we never ask merchants to disable Shopify’s built-in “charge tax” setting. The app works fully within Shopify’s tax framework and applies VAT exemption wherever it is supported. We also implemented custom changes based on your specific requirements and confirmed that everything is functioning correctly. After delivering the updates, we reached out multiple times for your confirmation, but unfortunately, we haven’t received any response to our emails or messages.

Excellent service, and it works perfectly. I tried 5 different apps, and this one was the best priced and also the only one that actually did what I needed it to. In the UK, we have to exclude VAT from some PPE items, but only for some customers and not all. We also had a non standard theme, it was not showing correctly on the theme, and they fixed and addressed it quickly and exactly how we needed it.
