It's perfect for taking a regular faceless picture and putting a model face on it which really gives your products that extra pop! Other AI model apps don't compare. It's still learning, so difficult clothing designs may need to generate a few times, but I always get a desired result. The OnModel team is very responsive and efficient.
Extremely poor conversions from one race to another. You end up using 5 to 10 conversions to get one good one. Sometimes it mangles the body parts, hands, feet and it gives you white models when you call for people of color, black, hispanic, or asian. So on the starter plan you have 500 model changes so you end up using much of your quota to get the model changes correct. Support is slow or non existent
Doesn't work well. Images come out looking fake along with issues that require more work and editing. Also our lingerie products don't work on the app because it flags them as Safety Risk.
Excellent app and great support. I've spent the last couple of weeks experimenting with the OnModel app and it's safe to say I'm blown away! It makes displaying a variety of models in my Shopify store so simple and hassle-free. Plus, the accuracy of the AI and high-quality rendering really takes it to the next level. Great follow up and customer service. Use on desktop/laptop only. I had an issue and they team contacted me quickly.
Hi, I wanted to reach out as you mentioned you were having difficulty getting to Step 3 on our app. We noticed you were able to convert several tshirt images into model photos. That's great to see. Could you let us know which part you're having difficulty with? To be clear, and as stated in our app description, we only support tshirt images today to convert to model photos. So the non-tshirt images in your store will not be compatible and you will get an "unsupported" message. We are adding more categories such as jackets, bottoms, etc soon. If you have existing model photos, you can swap models in them with no category restrictions. We would be happy to provide support through the app as well.
