Before the app moved to a paid model, we displayed a clear in-app banner notification to inform merchants about the upcoming pricing change, so it wasn’t intended to be a sudden or silent update. All existing Product Groups you created remain fully intact and usable. An upgrade is only required if you want to edit existing Product Groups, create new ones, or use new features released after the app moved to a paid plan. For early users who supported the app from the beginning, we do offer special discounts as a way to show our appreciation and ensure the transition is as fair as possible. We’re a small team, and moving to a paid model allows us to continue maintaining the app, supporting merchants, and developing new features long term. That said, we truly value feedback like yours, as it helps us improve both the product and the experience around it.
