it is a bit misleading to claim 'forever free' 'unlimited free invoices' when once installed it says that we need to pay for exceeding the monthly limit of 50 orders. I prefer this to be explicit before installing as there are other apps to compare with similar plans.

Thank you for sharing your experience. The app was installed since May, 2024. Back then, the free plan has 50 orders / month limit and the PRO plan was $8.99. We do not change the limits or rise the price for existing clients.
