I feel like the books load very slowly compared to ISSUU embedded files
Thanks for flagging this. We found the cause and fixed it on our servers, so your catalogues should now load quickly with no change needed on your side. The viewer was re-downloading the whole PDF on repeat visits instead of loading pages on demand; that's resolved. If a very large PDF still feels heavy on the very first open, Performance mode on the Advanced plan converts it to page images that appear instantly. Happy to help if you notice anything else.
We use Real3D FlipBook to display our digital catalogues on our Shopify stores and it does exactly what we need. It’s straightforward to set up, works well across devices and gives customers a much nicer, more interactive way to browse a catalogue than simply opening a PDF. We’ve found it reliable and easy to manage. Very happy with the app.
