Excellent support from Uri and the team, Shopify were completely unwilling to help us get the app up and running due to a bug on the Shopify side but Uri found a manual work around for our 3500+ photos and has manually done this - great service

Great app for automatically optimising pictures when you add new products. I'd love an option where all images (on homepage and pages for example) are automatically optimised as well. Great and speedy customer support.

This app is incredible. It has helped optimize our photos and the AI SEO description tool is amazing. The best part is Uri the creator goes above and beyond for you. The app does exactly what it says it will do. If you get hung up Uri will personally help you and does not stop until he fixes your issue. You can tell Uri is passionate about his work here. He wants to see everyone's store to succeed and look good succeeding. He even helped answer some questions and gave some very helpful insights that we had that were non-related to SEO and photo optimization about our store front.

Thanks for your kind words. To those reading the review, just a clarification that there's no difference you can SEE in the photos is a good thing. They look the same, but they load way faster. We got them about 30% smaller and they look just as great, which is what we're aiming for here.

I have used quite a few photo optimization apps for my site over the years, many offer lots of extra bells and whistles, features I don't really need - I just wanted an app that would resize without sacrificing image quality. On a whim I tried Photobear, I was immediately impressed with the simplicity and the results. They speak for themselves. Plus I really appreciated the developer's personal approach to alerting me to an issue with an image and helping me solve the problem. Researching the developer I can see that he's very passionate about machine learning and its applications, you can tell he genuinely enjoys his work! Excellent job, I look forward to seeing more innovations as time goes on.

Just a technical note to those who want more detail: we don't resize the photo technically - the amount of pixels stays the same. What we do is smart compression, that reduces the image size with not visually discernable difference. I really struggled with my photos, as I imported them from other apps. The resolution and the quality of the photos were way worse as that from the original supplier. I got a really good customer support and fast replies. The services are great and I invite you to install this app, it's worth it!
