DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP!!! I use many apps on my shopify store and this one was hands down the WORST! It charged my customers .50 cents over and over again without their consent. One customer said 8 times! Now I have to refund hundreds of these charges, which of course looks suspect making my business appear unreliable. So if you want to lose customer faith and give yourself a massive headache then by all means... UPDATE: I haven’t received any help on this matter, yet my customers are still being charged without their consent. This app being uninstalled for days and it’s still happening. They just told me to refund everyone and they’ll let the developers know the issue. Horrible and stressful experience with no accountability or resolutions.
We investigated this and discovered that the charges were not generated by Planet, but instead by attempted fraud: Someone was using your carbon-neutral shipping "product" to try and generate chargebacks. All charges were using the same name but different credit card numbers. (We assume they just picked a cheap item that didn’t need shipping, and then chose the "Support Carbon Removal" item, which is $0.50.) These charges triggered our fraud detection and were flagged in your admin.
