Amazing products and thank you for developing this, however, I can't seem to "connect to the store".

Appears to be an abandoned project. We were able to "Connect" one product from their inventory to our store, but (a) it doesn't actually appear in Shopify, (b) the disconnect button doesn't do anything, and (c) we can't connect any additional products.

UPDATE 6/24/2025: My experience has changed, unfortunately. It seems they've fallen off the face of the earth, but still allow people to spend money on their app if it's already installed? A customer placed an order in May, I followed the checkout process through the app to kick off fulfillment, received a receipt and have the transaction in my account. Time went by, customer inquired, I looked and it showed as if it was still open and not fully checked out. To get this customer their plant, I 'checked out' again and figured we'd do the refund part later. I have an additional receipt and transaction, so have now paid for this plant twice. Plant still has not shipped, so I checked again today, and the order still shows as not checked out!!! It still allows me to go through the checkout process again if I wanted to though, so they're still fine with collecting my money while leaving me completely hanging and looking bad to this customer. Uninstalling this app and taking business elsewhere, it started off great (see my first review below) but something changed and it's honestly a real bummer. From 12/31/2024: Plantboy has been amazing to use with my Shopify store! They have been responsive any time I've had questions and even jumped on a call when I was first getting started to help walk me through the process and how the app worked. We haven't had a single issue with any of the plants that have been ordered, everything's packaged nicely and safely. They even automatically include cold-weather packaging when necessary, unlike other plant drop-shippers. I've been using the app for a little under a year now and don't have anything bad to say. I'm stoked to keep growing my small business with Plantboy!!

I love their inventory, and their shipping -- when it works. I've had at least two instances when all the products completely disconnected from my store and more recently, I couldn't add products to my store. I've tried to uninstall the app; now it won't let me reinstall it -- and I have an order to fulfill with them.... so I'm faced with either going to buy the plant and shipping it from elsewhere, or refunding the money. I'd absolutely love to work with them more as a partner, but they need get some stability to this product.

We hesitate writing this review because, as a small business owner, we know how much these can affect our business, but working with vendors affects our business too and I think it's important for other business owners to be aware of what it's like to work with Plantboy. We no longer work with them because, as others have stated, there is zero customer service and help. We had to issue a refund for a customer because the order never synced with PlantBoy. After multiple rounds of emails to them through various channels over 2 weeks, we could not get a hold of anyone to help us remedy this issue. The customer never got the plant, we lost out on sales, and PlantBoy was unreachable. This is not at all acceptable to us as a small business and the service that we provide our customers. We gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because the one order that did go through all the way worked seamlessly and the plant was very good quality. It was even larger than we expected. We had hoped to work with them closely, but with a complete lack of communication and customer service to help us resolve issues for our customers, we will not be working with them again.
