Provido Inventory Forecasting

We're not a huge operation, so we needed something that would help with inventory without being unnecessarily complicated. Provido has been a good fit for us. It gives us useful forecasting and replenishment information without requiring a complicated inventory management system. The interface is easy to understand and the recommendations are practical.

We've been using Provido for our Shopify inventory planning and it's quickly become one of those apps that saves us time in the background. The thing I like most is that it gives us a clear list of what may need reordering and lets us understand the reasoning behind it. The purchase order workflow is also really useful. We're still exploring everything the app can do, but so far it's been a very useful tool for managing stock.

Before using Provido, a lot of our inventory planning involved checking sales, stock levels and upcoming requirements manually. Provido has taken a lot of that repetitive work away from us. Having suggested reorders and purchase orders prepared for review means we can spend more time actually managing the business rather than putting spreadsheets together.

One thing I really like about Provido is that it doesn't just tell us what to reorder — it explains why. Being able to see things like demand, stock cover and reorder points makes the recommendations much easier to understand and trust. For us, that's much more useful than having a black-box forecast where we're just expected to accept the suggested quantity.

Provido has simplified our purchasing process quite a bit. It identifies the products that need replenishing and groups purchase orders by supplier, which saves us a lot of manual work. I also like that the orders don't just get sent automatically — we can review everything and approve it first. That gives us automation without feeling like we've lost control.

The forecasting is probably my favourite part of Provido. Instead of just looking at current stock levels, we can see suggested replenishment quantities based on our sales history. Having the forecast available by product and location makes it much easier to plan ahead rather than constantly reacting when something gets low. It's become a useful part of our inventory routine.

We were looking for a replacement for Stocky and came across Provido. So far, it's been a great fit for what we needed. The forecasting and purchase order functionality are exactly the areas we were looking for, and being able to import our supplier information from our Stocky export made the transition much easier. It's still early days for us, but Provido has made inventory management much more organised.
