Reviews Summary
The Purple Dot app has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from users. Customers appreciate its ease of use, especially for managing pre-orders and out-of-stock inventory. The app's feature of not charging customers until the goods are ready to ship is highly valued, along with the responsive and helpful customer service provided by the Purple Dot team. Users also praise the seamless integration with Shopify and the time-saving benefits of clear communication with customers regarding order status. However, there are a few areas for improvement highlighted in the reviews, such as the need for easier transitions from pre-orders to regular orders and compatibility issues with certain themes.

Purple Dot has been a godsend in better managing our business by enabling pre-orders. The furniture industry inherently has issues when it comes to inventory availability and delays that can affect the landing of goods, customs clearance and shipping, therefore being able to take orders from clients and to communicate the pre-ship status has helped reduce the amount of customer service inquiries that we receive.

Great app for taking pre-orders for out-of-stock inventory or for pre-launch!

What I love about this app is that the customer doesn't pay for the goods until it's ready to ship. We felt that this was really important in todays market. It's super simple to use and I prefer paying for each transaction rather than a monthly amount as we have so many apps! Having it installed means that we don't miss out on those important sales!
