The Perfume House review for Releasit COD Form & Upsells
April 14, 2025
We were initially using the Releasit COD Form app on our store, but recently encountered a serious technical issue where customers could not complete orders—the form would just keep loading and never redirect to the confirmation page. After days of declined orders, we identified that the issue was coming from the Releasit app. When we contacted their support, instead of fixing the problem, they told us we must include an email field in the form for it to work—something that was never required before. We explained that other apps, , work perfectly fine without forcing this. Still, no proper solution was provided, so we decided to switch to another alternative However, what happened next was shocking. As soon as we moved away from Releasit, we started receiving fake and bot orders on our store—clearly targeted, and likely not a coincidence. It seems like a form of retaliation or unethical behavior from their side, which is completely unacceptable. If you're considering using Releasit, be careful. Based on our experience, not only is the support unhelpful, but switching away from their app might expose your store to spam or malicious activity. We strongly recommend going with a more reliable and ethical alternative
Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm truly sorry to hear that you faced these issues, and I want to personally address them. At Releasit, we work tirelessly every day to provide reliable solutions and responsive support to thousands of merchants. I'm sorry that in your case, things didn’t go as expected. Regarding the issue you encountered: we understand how frustrating it must have been. Our team recommended including the email field because recent platform changes and app updates have made it essential for proper form submission and order processing. We’re actively working on improving compatibility and reducing friction in these transitions, and your feedback helps us do better. As for the allegations of fake or bot orders after uninstalling our app, we want to be absolutely clear: we strongly refute any suggestion of malicious intent or retaliation. Releasit has never and will never engage in unethical practices. We take this kind of accusation very seriously, and we’re happy to cooperate in any investigation to clear up the matter. We’d still be more than willing to work with you to resolve any technical issues you experienced. Our goal is to support your store's success, not hinder it. If you’re open to reconnecting, we’d appreciate the opportunity to make things right. Kind regards, Carlos Villanueva Releasit General Manager
