ShipBob Fulfillment
ShipBob has received mixed reviews from users. While some customers have praised the app for its seamless integration with Shopify, helpful onboarding process, and knowledgeable support team, others have expressed dissatisfaction with issues such as lost inventory, delayed shipments, and poor communication. Positive themes in the reviews include easy setup, helpful support staff like Suproteek and Manas, and efficient onboarding process. On the other hand, negative themes include lost packages, delayed orders, and lack of accountability and communication from the support team. Overall, ShipBob seems to have both satisfied and dissatisfied customers, with a focus on the importance of reliable fulfillment services and effective communication.
We have been a ShipBob customer for over two years, but this has been one of the worst fulfilment experiences we have had. ShipBob lost one of our inventory shipments, then repeatedly delayed receiving and stocking the replacement shipment despite assuring us it would be prioritised. Our customers were left waiting for weeks, forcing us to issue refunds, lose subscription customers and pay for express shipping to try to repair the damage. Support responses were mostly generic apologies, references to internal SLAs and requests for “continued patience,” with no clear ownership or reliable completion date. ShipBob eventually offered a credit for the manufacturing cost of the lost inventory, but this does not cover the lost sales, refunds, additional shipping costs or reputational damage caused. The lack of urgency, accountability and communication has been extremely disappointing.
I had a poor experience using ShipBob and would suggest small businesses look for a different provider for warehousing and fulfilment. Keep looking.
BEWARE! We started fulfilling through ShipBob in October 2025 and it has been the worst decision we have made since launching the business. One of the carriers that was included in the ship-option was Amazon Shipping. ShipBob has shipped so many (at least 50%) of our orders via Amazon Shipping and it has been an absolute nightmare! All of our inventory is at ShipBob's FC in Las Vegas and all ordered shipped through Amazon Shipping initially travel to San Bernandino, CA. Most orders sit in San Bernandino for a few days without any updates. That is the case even if the shipping address is southern California. For East Coast shipping addresses, they eventually start moving east (that's if they ever start moving). Even if the final destination is Texas, Amazon will move the packages to Alabama or Tennessee. The packages will then sit there for another few days. In the meantime, customers are furious that Amazon either provides no updates or they never deliver. We then reach out to ShipBob for answers except ShipBob never escalates the issues to Amazon for updates. After weeks of complaining to ShipBob and asking them to remove Amazon Shipping from our carriers list, they finally respond and suggest a new rate sheet that will literally cost us 22.47% more to exclude Amazon from the list. We are speechless! This was the response after ShipBob actively pushed us out for several weeks while we were dealing with customer complaints and having to ship replacement units at our own expense (because ShipBob has a 30-45 day window you have to wait for before you become eligible to file a claim). We are scaling quickly and ShipBob has done a good job losing the opportunity to build a long term relationship with us. p.s. Good luck trying to reach the salesperson at ShipBob for support. They disappear once you sign up with them.
