Shopify Bundles

This bundle app has high potential, but it's missing A LOT of necessary features. One of the biggest issues is the bundle price is "static" and based on the price of the items IN the bundle AT the time the bundle is built. The price is not dynamic which means you could very easily be over or under priced based on if an item in the bundle has gone on sale. The bundle price SHOULD update when an item in the bundle has been updated. Also, we need an easier way to filter and sort Bundles. There's no way to even search Bundles in the Bundle app and when you have 50+ bundles like we do, it's a pain to have to go page by page to get to your newest bundle. Would also be hugely beneficial to be able to export the bundle with line items so you can much more easily see what's in the bundle itself. I want to love this app but right now it's more of a headache than it is helpful.

Great app Simple to use

I like the app and it's easy to use. The one thing I need is to be able to hide the line items that make up the bundle from my customers. The customer knows what they are buying and it uses up so much more receipt paper.

We use bundles for 90% of the products we sell. HOWEVER, we have to create MAJOR work around to promote these on social ads. Bundles means we can’t use any of the native social sales channels. Reporting sucks because we have to create special reports to see sales data. Bundles do not flow into Triple Whale but all the individual items do. As a result, we can’t see which bundle is the top seller. The only benefit is the individual products flow into NetSuite so we can keep our inventory accurate. Come on Shopify, Q4 is here…isn’t it time this is fixed?

I could not get this to work. I tried to create a bundle with 3 products. On the webpage it would not show pricing of the products or a total price. Also 1 of the products did not have multiple variants to choose from, so it would not show it on the webpage. No setting to any type of styling and positioning of the page.

When creating bandles, you can see only products with variants to select and its confusing customers.

The functionality in this app is very useful (at least the idea is), but unfortunately the app is annoying and frustrating to work with. - It is not possible to change the position of the (bundled) variant options. Only way to do this is to remove and create the bundle again. - No bulk editor - It always creates a completely new product, and all settings and data from the original products must be added again one by one (weight, purchase price, etc.).

Cette application pourrait être extraordinaire d'un niveau 5 étoiles, mais il y a des paramètres qui devraient être modifiés d'urgence afin de ne pas perdre tous les utilisateurs. Je pense que même payante votre application reste la meilleure. 1. Pourquoi limiter seulement à 30 produits par Bundle? 2. Pourquoi keboas donner accès à Google et Facebook qui sont incontournables pour la vente en ligne. 3. Le champs prix se remplit tout seul, pourquoi pas les autres champs tels que le poids, le coût des articles, les catégories,... Ça simplifierait tellement. Je vais encore attendre un peu avant d'aller voir s'il existe d'autres applications mais ce serait vraiment dommage.

Shopify announced that they increased their variant limit to 2000 back in ...January? But still has not rolled it out. This greatly limits the bundling app. Worse things: 1. When I make a bundle it loses all knowledge of the original products offered variants and tries to combine aspects of a listing that never were options. (aka a pair of a book with rope offered in a few thicknesses and colors wont import the knowledge from the original rope listing about which colors are in which thicknesses) 2. No bulk editing. This is ridiculous. But the items created by the bundling app cant be bulk edited. This means every price has to be opened and set manually one at a time for each variation. 3. Unwanted variants have to be deleted one at a time. This means any excess variants the bundle app creates (see issue 1) have to be slowly deleted one by 1 (regular shopify products support deleting a few variants at once...) 4. No "optional" flag for making a bundle. Every item we bundle MUST be purchased by the customer all together. Meaning customers cannot choose to mix and match a kit of their own with rope and shears and books and rings. We have to set "this kit comes with all these things, take it or leave it"

it doesn't work! We make bundles of for example 5 products and only 3 of them get into the basket of the customer. This app is horrible, we put in so much work in it and then suddenly it doesn't take the products, this is so frustrating! Why do you publish this app if it doesn't work yet?

Right now the bundels don't work like intendet. A few months ago it worked like a charm. My customers can't put the bundels in to the cart and if they can, the shop denies to purchase all products of a bundel after a random number of prducts (every time the same number per product). This is unaccaptable. Please fix this asap.

Being a software developer myself, I’ve seen a lot of crappy apps. But not many come close to this one. It’s hard to believe that someone on the Shopify team saw this app and said, “Yeah, this looks solid. Let’s launch the damn thing!” But clearly, I am giving them too much credit.

Currently, the Bundles app does not allow bundles to be directly published to Facebook and Instagram sales channels due to its reliance on variant-based structures, which complicates syncing. This limits merchants’ ability to promote bundles effectively on social media. I suggest enabling bundles to be treated as standalone products with dedicated product pages that seamlessly integrate with Shopify’s social media sales channels. This would ensure bundles are shoppable directly on platforms like Instagram and Facebook, improving the customer experience and boosting sales. Zero-Option Variant Support: The app lacks the ability to create a "zero-option" variant, where customers can choose to purchase a bundle with or without specific products (e.g., buy Product A alone or with Product B). Adding this feature would give merchants more flexibility to offer customizable bundles while maintaining a streamlined product page. For example, allowing customers to select a standalone product or a full bundle within the same interface would enhance usability and meet diverse customer preferences.

It works well on my site but i recently started running google ads so all of these bundled gift sets I have created are useless but were curated for seo and ads. Works okay in a very limited capacity

While it's a free app, it should be as it's virtually useless. The limit for products is way too low, and the the bundle functionality doesn't actually work - it just line lists out skus that make up the bundle with individual pricing. I'm not sure what the point of this app is, but go elsewhere.
