No real changes to report except oversells still happening in late of 2025, with this app incorrectly +1'ing my Shopify inventory when I sell a product on Shopify. There may be a way to resolve that (for example "Shopify quantities will override Etsy quantities", but there is no website documentation to explain what that means. The video, that is 2 years old, mentions that option is only available during initial setup. Clearly that has changed, as its in the settings now, but I do not know what it means. Does it mean Etsy inventory will NEVER go down on Etsy or Shopify if a sell occurs on Etsy? I never, ever want Etsy to +1 anything, but it does way to frequently when I sell 1 item on Shopify. I have used the app because there was no real alternative as of the date of this original review. It works, slowly, and not always when you need it to - often to leading to oversells of products, which has happened several times over the last couple of years. I've sold out on either Shopify or Etsy only to have the app not function properly and not correctly deduct the final inventory to 0 on the other sale channel - Etsy or Shopify. OR, if I ZERO out Shopify inventory manually, the app will often add a +1 to Shopify 15 minutes later. It still sees 1 on Etsy and thinks - "Ok, let me +1 to Shopify." Not awesome. This causes an oversell of the product, which exactly what I'm paying to prevent. It happens too frequently to keep track, as recently as late August 2025. I would have a sale on Shopify (-1) only to have Etsy app (+1) Shopify for no reason. The app has lead to multiple oversells on at least 5 different products in the past week. :| Support/Shirly had been quick to respond in the past, and they are nice, but they don't have a solution as you can see by their response below.
