Simile | Similar Upsell

As a Shopify store owner, I was excited to try out Simile, a promising app offering a "view similar" widget to enhance my customers' shopping experience. While the app's features seemed impressive, I faced significant challenges during installation. Despite diligently following the provided documentation, I couldn't add the widget to my store. Moreover, my attempts to seek support from the Simile team were hampered as their mailbox was full, leaving me unable to get assistance. I genuinely believe that with better implementation guidance and improved customer support, Simile could be a valuable addition to any Shopify store. For now, I hope the Simile team can reach out to me at [email protected] for timely help to unlock the app's full potential.

This is an app with great potential. It is by far the best at this price point for selecting relevant similar products. A couple of downsides, however. Their support is practically non-existent. Two emails were sent, both ignored. The app also displays images that - in my opinion - are too large, and so far we have not been able to find a way to change that. If only their support actually did anything, this would get 5 stars.

App worked for a few days and now has stopped, I use this for Bath & Body products, When it worked it worked great. They say its because of your browser cache that it needs to be cleared. but I feel that if a customer you have does not know to clear his / her cache they will get the same results ... that this app will not show up until they clear their cache. So to me this app needs to have work done on that situation before I can give more stars, Similar apps do not need to have that done like this one.
