I’ve tried a few subscription apps before deciding on SubZero. The setup was smooth, the features are thoughtfully designed, and everything integrates seamlessly with Shopify. What impressed me the most, though, was the customer service. The team (especially George) went above and beyond to answer my questions quickly and even helped with some custom configurations for my store. It’s clear they’ve built the app to be simple, flexible, and user-friendly without the extra bloat you find in other solutions. Pricing is fair, the functionality is exactly what I need, and support has been exceptional. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable subscription solution!

I recommend this app, but there are some basic features the app does not offer. For example, there is currently no easy way to see the total number of shipments set to go out in a given month. My business keeps track of how many boxes we need to pack each month with hand-made spreadsheets of customers set to receive shipments that month. The developers seem helpful and open to suggestions, so I'm hoping our feature requests will be added to the app soon! Overall, we are satisfied with the capabilities of the app as it stands.

Russell responded to all my questions with helpful info and feedback. They also built this app a lot smarter than other subscription apps. Tagging, for example, is per subscription. So unlike other apps where any active subscriber will have the same active tag, this app can handle different active tags for different subscriptions. It's easy to use and the price is not bad.

I was looking for, no pun intended, a simple solution to handle my subscriptions, and decided to give this a shot. Beyond the seamless integration with Shopify, the customer service sold me. Alyssa was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, and it made the migration a less painful process.

There are a lot of subscription apps for Shopify, but Simple Subscriptions seems to live up to its name by being the most straightforward solution I could find. There are no third-party service integrations or per-transaction fees. I had the challenge of associating some fairly complex subscription options to over 16,000 products, but Russel was prompt, helpful and able to address nearly every concern. I'll be sure to use Simple Subscriptions again.

Try this app now. Alyssa and Russell get it. They have built an app that does everything you need and spare you the bloat you get with the other guys (looking at you, Recharge). Storefront 2.0? Done. Shopify Markets? No prob. This app is SIMPLE (duh) but uses the most recent best practices as suggested by Shopify. The Cakewalk team is extremely easy to work with and were instrumental is getting us set up with exactly what we need.

We had looked for a long time for a service to help us with our custom subscriptions. Cakewalk's Simple Subscriptions has gone above and beyond what we were expecting. They are always responsive, clear, and helpful. They even helped us to set up some custom configurations for our data! I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Very happy with Simple Subscriptions. Works well straight away, easy install, easy to configure and great support from the team when required. I used this for subscriptions and lately have used the product swops feature which is very useful indeed and easy to implement. Also now learned to edit the purchase options box better and appreciate the functionality of this. Well done and thank you for this app.

Absolutely abismal !! After being a customer for years, the service has severely deteriorated. Incredibly poor support... many emails sent over months.. Occasional responses that are never followed up on or seen through, and the issue is never resolved. They have also just doubled our monthly fee with no notice whatsoever! BE WARNED... these guys cannot be trusted. Needless to say, in the process of finding another provider

I tried out other subscription apps. I really justed wanted something simple yet powerful. I also wanted to pay a flat rate for the app that integrated with my payment options and not also have to pay a % of my sales. This app was perfect. Very easy to set up. I made a couple initial errors, but the team was responsive in showing me how to properly get everything set up. They even went as far as to set up a phone call to help me get everything straight. All of my questions were answered and I was up and running fast and it does exactly what I need.

Simplicity is a thing of beauty. Simple Subscriptions is a bare bones but fully functional app to offer re-occurring shipments to your customers without breaking the bank. We have a custom theme and were unable to complete the install on our own, but the support staff was able to make the necessary adjustments for us to deploy our subscription plans in a matter of days. The subscription orders are created automatically and feed into our order processing system for hands-free order flow. I was a little leery of trying such a new to market app, but was quickly confident with how knowledgeable and attentive the support staff is to our needs. I also greatly appreciate how open they are to hearing our feature requests. I have to believe as more stores are on-boarded, that this app will quickly blossom into a top-row contender.

The support from Russell (and the team at Cakewalk) was outstanding! We have a custom theme on our Shopify store and they were SO helpful getting us up and running, he actually did it for me when I expressed my "lack" of know-how in this area! We're new to subscriptions so his help was so appreciated! Thank you for your assistance and a great product!!
