Love this app! Such an easy way to check the total cost value of my entire inventory at any one time, and I'm slowly learning to use it to look at margins and order profits too.

Great app that does what it says. I have been using SimplyCost for a while now, and I use it daily. I mostly ease it for keeping track of the profit on a day to day basic. After focusing on profit, it has increased 3 times, and the sales are only increased 1,5 time, so focusing on the profit has had a positive impact on the business - thanks to SimplyCost.

I love this application, it allows to have a quick overview of the costs / benefits and as a bonus, we can export the data for the accountant. Many hours of work saved. Wow! Fills the COGS gap that shopify does not offer and does not intend to offer. A must have for inventory managment and cost reporting. Brilliant!

Owning a family business means that COGS vs profit is a crucial aspect for our future. The set-up process was a little difficult for me since we already had inventory in the system. Sam immediately assisted me and continued through (the night) until I finally had all our information formatted correctly. SimplyCost saves me a substantial amount of time since it calculates the sales while including discounts, refunds, taxes and shipping. The reporting aspect of the App shows me when our store is performing well and which products or variants are most profitable. The very reasonable cost and Sam’s impeccable customer service is well worth it!

So far so good! At RitaBean.com we pride ourselves on superior customer service and we like staying on top of costs. This app provides a great service, something that Shopify should provide out of the box!

UPDATE: I've been using Simply cost for about a year now and it's my favorite app without a doubt. If you're wondering which app to use - use this one! ORIG REVIEW: We have over 23,000 SKUs and this app is phenomenal. It does exactly what is promised, is stable and bug free, and Sam has been incredibly helpful with my questions. Would recommend to anyone looking to get straight forward information about their cost of goods sold! Keep up the great work Sam!

Great app to get a simple overview of your profits and cost of stock. Of course this will not replace an accounting system and not factor in all your operating costs, but that is also not the point of the app. Very well worth the cost and good support!

Its a super good app....I use it every month to add COGS to each item and to download reports at the end of the accounting period.

I had tried another costing app in my attempt to get my COGS reporting and was struggling with it. Someone suggested this app and felt I had little to lose to try it. Within 2 days, I had all my cost info in and prior orders costed out. I had a few questions and issues, and the support was awesome. Not only did I get quick responses, but a software fix was put in place to manage a special case in just a few days. i am pleased with the reporting and found this to fill a gap in Shopify.

This app has been amazing for me. I had alot of back tracking to do and the app made it easy to go back and update everything from the time my store opened until now. Super easy to use and I love all of the reports it offers.

Very happy with the app. A very simple way to keep track of your profit. It's easy to add extra costs to allow for shipping and packaging. The reports are clear and easy to read. I especially like the report by month that lets you see how your revenue, cost of sales, and profit are tracking. The bulk update via a spreadsheet is also very useful for see all the prices of our kids watches that we sell in NZ.

A great app - laid out well and easy to use. We have over 12k SKU's and now with the app can account for cost margins for all the items. Sam is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend.

First time I installed it, it did not work. Left feedback and then support contacted me. Apparently they were fixing the servers. Then I went back and installed it again. It worked this time and I was able to download the template csv so I can upload the COGS. Bulk upload status email was in spam folder. Other than that, app works fine and developer is on point in support. Numbers are correct. Everything works fine. Although, it would be good to be able include fees we incur from other marketplace like eBay, Amazon, PayPal, etc. But even without it, you can still manually calculate it with the help of this app (get the total profit the app gives you and subtract the marketplace fees from it). Maybe if we had more sales, we might use this but right now a simple excel sheet with formulas are easier.
