SRA ‑ Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

We finally have data we can trust! Server-side events means our GA4 purchase data is complete and clean, and running Facebook CAPI through the integration has improved our event match quality giving us more reliable signal for campaign optimization. Setup was fast and Kevin has always been proactive and thorough with answering our questions. That kind of hands-on support is rare, and it made a real difference. For any Shopify brand running paid media and trying to make sound decisions from analytics, this is the infrastructure investment that makes everything else work better. Highly recommend!

The setup was very easy and it does track our Shopify sales with 100% accuracy. The support from Kevin was fantastic also as we had a duplicate conversion recording issue with GTM / Client side tags firing but he managed to help us fix this quickly. We have now 100% of the sales tracked vs 85% tracked with GTM/ Client side tracking which means better ads optimization.

We couldn't use this app because of the code it was putting on the Additional Details on orders which messed up our shipping system. So we uninstalled this app weeks ago and all orders continue to have this code on it. They don't actually uninstall the app code which is a terrible development process. They've also been unresponsive when reaching out to get this fixed.

So far the process has been amazing! I wasn't seeing accurate data from the Shopify integration of GA4, but within 24 hours of removing it, and adding this app, data was being passed in correctly! I've added it to another store as well! Highly recommend!

The support team is quite helpful! At first, I thought the data is not channeling correctly despite linking up everything and disconnecting GA4 in Shopify. Kevin helped us to look into our GA4 and confirmed that there's 24 hour delay. Now our GA4 revenue/transaction data is within only 10% difference with Shopify vs 15-20% before using the app.

Easy setup! Not entirely sure if it's working yet, but that's on Google for right now, I think. Either way, Shopify's native GA4 workflow doesn't work: so in the meantime, this is a great alternative (I hope).

Excellent app for integrating GA4 CORRECTLY with Shopify. As amazing it is, Google / Shopify official app does not do it the right way thus really glad for there to be a channel that is both easy and actually works properly. Google Technical support themselves admitted that their own integration is sketchy at best - but it is not a priority for Shopify or Google to fix it so well done for SlideRule to providing an actual solution her.

That may sound like a limp review, but I have an extensive career in website ownership, digital marketing, and product management, and that is just about the highest praise I can give to a piece of software. SRA is blissfully easy to install, it's up and running in less than 2 minutes, and the one question I had was answered quickly and clearly. I finally have good, reliable analytics from my Shopify store, so I can finally start ramping up my paid advertising confident that the data I base my ad strategy on is going to be accurate. Much better GA4 integration than the Google Channel. SRA GA4 is much more comprehensive and seemingly more stable than the integration using google channel. It also addressed an important data element that we needed. Kevin has been very responsive and extremely helpful. Also very glad the GA4 portion is free. Excellent documentations and videos, much more informative and transparent than what Google provides. The two 1 star reviews this app received are unwarranted. Hoping there will be more products from SlideRuleAnalytics.

Leaves junk code in your theme file even after uninstalling the application, slowing down your site.

Works right out of the box in just a few clicks. We like it as it passes an incredible amount of data and fills some of the holes in our previous integration. The Server to Server (S2S) setup means we have a more accurate solution than possible via pixels or Google tag manager. The added Klaviyo tracking was a boon and allowed us to reduce our code weight further which equals faster page speeds.

Most helpful customer service and app for setting up GA4, highly recommended. All set up in a matter on minutes!

Installation is super easy to follow. No manual inputs required. For that effort, i got more detailed tracking than most other manual ways of implementing GA4. Thanks a lot.

I've tried so many solutions from hiring somebody on Fiverr or Upwork, to Elevar or LittleData.. This was by far the easiest to set up (it only took 5 minutes) and within 24 hours I could see the data in GA4 matching to shopify. Thank you!!
