For the past year, I have been paying $199.99 per month for Slingshots services and $99.00 per month for Turn 14 apps services to import our data and catalogs from Atech Motorstate and Wheel Pros. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, no products have been successfully added to our website. While we do have SEMA data on the backend, it should not hinder the importation process. We are also confronting numerous challenges, including broken links, unindexed pages, and a variety of other technical issues. Even if you click and check out the sites that give positive reviews for the most part they have the same issues. Look them on your mobile device poor placement, extended load times, random other script issues. I am actively seeking resolution with Slingshot and will provide updates on our progress. As of December 4, 2024, they have consistently ignored our requests for communication and support. Moreover, they conditioned their assistance upon the removal of a negative review. We have incurred expenses exceeding $5,000 for their services, and they recently communicated via email that they would cease working with us and recommended that we find an alternative vendor. As of December 6, 2024, they suspended our account without prior notice. Currently, I am collaborating with a capable developer and have identified that, despite my careful exclusions of specific brands and collections from our site, their system continues to upload excessive amounts of unwanted data and products. This situation remains ongoing, and I will provide updates as necessary. Thank you for your review. Please check the Products tab in your Shopify admin to see your products. URLs are set when the products are created and can be tailored using the Enhancements tab (for example, to add the manufacturer name or MPN for SEO purposes). Page indexing is not something that Shopify provides but you can use Google Analytics to get better insight into your SEO.

Excellent Team! They work with you directly in order to improve the product which is great! This app has a lot of potential! The turn14 app is also great!

Versatile platform with flexibility to add or modify brand listings. Very impressed with the layout of the catalogs and response rate of the product syncs. Experienced one connection delay with a distributor, hindering products from syncing. The Data Here to There team quickly stepped in to alleviate the broken connection, effectively doing the job of the distributor for them. Needless to say the API subscription fee the distributor was getting is now going where it belongs each month.

NEVER EVER USE THIS APP. I am not kidding. We installed the app and connected to distributor and SEMA catalog. Everything seemed to be ok. Though instead of 200+ brands you will find only 6 with Keystone. So, I added 3 brands to test and the app started synching the data. Today when I opened my admin I saw that the app messed everything up and uploaded all the products from those brands when I filtered out the categories we need. Not a big deal, I thought and decided just to remove them from the site. But right after I removed the products they were uploaded again to the site. Bizarre, I removed them again --> the app put them back again. OK, I decided to disconnect the distributor and the catalog which I did but it didn't help Even without any connection to SEMA and distributor this app somehow puts back the products I remove each and every time. I even decided just to send them to draft in order not to display that mess on the website. BUT it makes them active again. I will have to report this app to SEMA and to all the distributors, as it doesn't work and Alexanrdra does not know what to do. She told me they disconnected the app and stopped it but somehow it's still uploading the removed products to the site. Result: 1. I have +2500 messy products displayed on the site which can cause problems with my customers if someone orders any of that products 2. App support is absolutely helpless, they simply can't fix it 3. New urls will hurt our SEO 4. -1 day of my life trying to solve that. This app should not be here as it's simply dangerous and I will have report it to Shopify.
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with the app. We can definitely help you with those issues. The goal of the app is to import the brands that you select and keep them synchronized. This is why you see them automatically re-created. It also respects the brand permissions from your catalogs which is why you will see the authorization status on the brands. The best way to fix that is to request approval for the brands that are unauthorized.
