Do NOT use Smartrmail Enhanced. I used this app for years without problems. I got a pressure sale and BIG promised of how they were going to bring in big money for me. The email automations they created had nice designs. However, they used AI to generate content, which caused errors (linking my business incorrectly, wrong address, most importantly wrong branding, etc), they lost 26000 email accounts, promised deadlines they could not deliver and did not deliver on, AND their recommended products feature glitched over and over again for months and the issue never got resolved. All in all these "supports" caused loss of business and customer reach. I asked for and was promised a refund for the loss of email addresses, etc. They then claimed they could not see the charges that had gone through every month. I shared screenshots with them of the charges, and they claimed that this was not sufficient proof. i spoke with shopify and they said this is the best proof I could give and they app had avenues to find out about the charges. Don't invest in "help" from Smartrmail enhanced.
This is not an accurate portrayal of what SmartrMail and SmartrMail Enhanced services provide at all. You reached out to us prior to the holiday season for recommendations on how to boost sales and we offered to create email automations for you to automate weekly newsletters and follow up with customers. Neither the templates nor any content were generated with AI and the wrong address and branding were not included in your templates. The recommended products did not glitch, there is a difference between what products will be displayed to a customer vs what will be displayed in a test email sent to the account owner who doesn't have a purchase history that would contribute to what products are recommended. No email addresses were lost and we spent a great deal of time helping you to restore lapsed subscriptions that had been removed so that your emails were only being sent to the most engaged users in order to maximize the return on your investment in email marketing. There are humans behind the scenes here, not bots, so it is true that a deadline may slip past us occasionally and we're sorry you were impacted. We do apologize for the technical difficulties we encountered with the refund. These are now resolved and a further refund will be processed today.
