I would like to restrict split payments to draft orders only and not have the button displayed on the checkout page.

Just got this app recently. I was looking for a while to find some way to do shared purchasing. So happy I found this app. Support has been great too.

Download to use for a customer for a very large order. It put each partial order invoice through and cancelled them and created one final invoice but with shopify the amount shows as a double sale so my account and books will be completely off. I do not like this at all.

This app could be helpful in certain environments, but not if you use print on demand or other vendors where orders are triggered automatically when a customer places them. A new order is created for each split order thus triplicating orders with other vendors.

Alexander was very helpful in helping me to see if this app will fit the needs of our store. It didn't quite fit our unusual requests, but he also recommended a different app that fit some of our other strange needs. Ultimately, neither worked but they are now building a custom app with a combo of both. Alexander was fast, professional and helpful. I am looking forward to working with them more in the near future.

Initially gave this app a 1 star review. PLEASE NOTE: THIS APP DOES NOT TAKE ANY AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS. It simply splits the payments for your customers, and you have to rely on your customers honor to pay during the time period you give them. Well, I had 5 customers that didn't pay once the deadline came and went. Now, their status says "expired" on the app. Now, I have to take the time to email each customer individually that a payment has not been made, because I cannot do anything about this status on the app. I was informed I can't do anything once the deadline has passed. I'm now out $150. If customers knew this about any shop that carries this app, they could actually just wait to get their item, and decide not to pay since it's not an automatic payment. I can't rely on customers to honor their word to pay once they've received the item. There's no incentive then. Gave an extra star for the customer service rep that calmly helped me.

This is only 5 days free trial not 7 days as it states in the app store. If even this can't be accurate, how will the app work properly? Big red flag!

Seems like a great app so far - BUT how do you account for product shipping costs? if the split payment happens in the cart and shipping is calculated at check out

This app will NOT work to split the cost for customers that want to use two credit cards or one credit card and Paypal. The reason it won't work is that it splits the total cost that is in the cart, BEFORE shipping or taxes are added to the total. For instance, if your customer has $200 worth of merchandise in their cart, this app will split that for them and lets them choose how much to put on each card. But then let's say that shipping is $10 and tax is $14. That makes the final total $224. The additional $24 is not included in the split and therefore not collected. I've tried to explain this to them but they don't get it. I don't understand all the reviews that love this app unless these store owners aren't charging shipping or taxes to their customers. Nice concept, but worthless.

Split - Partial Payments, and especially Egor and Artem, were extremely helpful and quick to code the "Testament" template in order that their great App solution could be incorporated in our Cart section. The placed the "Split Payment" button perfectly on top of the payment gateway and credit card icons. Their offering is very helpful for customers who would like to use several debit/credit cards of their own or split a payment with family members or friends. I could not be more satisfied. All it did was split the order. I could do that manually. This app did not perform as expected and certainly isn’t worth an extra monthly charge.

This App needs to improve. It didn't solve my billing problems through shopify for the following reasons: - The Deposit feature is replaced by Discount which is very confusing - You can not give any discounts on the items once you add them to the order. (you would have to go change the initial price of your product every time; it doesn't make sense) - The app forwards automatically 2 different invoices to the client that are confusing
