This is the best app I've used yet, after using Shopify for over 5 years. The developer is incredibly responsive, listens to feedback and actually implements app improvements on the spot! I've checked out several stock management apps, and for the price and features, this app beats the rest by miles.

Stockful have been excellent. Very responsive support that made onboarding and migrating data easy. We have rolled out to 3 sites with no issue. Daily usage has also been great. Feature requests are taken onboard quickly and delivered without issue. Would highly recommend.

Very promising inventory planning app, and exceptional developer support We are currently evaluating Stockful as a possible replacement for our existing inventory planning system for a Shopify store with several thousand SKUs and a fairly complex mix of stocked, seasonal and order-on-demand products. Our first experience has been extremely positive. During testing we identified two workflows that were important to us: automatically treating Shopify “continue selling when out of stock” variants as order-on-demand, and importing SKU-specific supplier lead times. I explained the use cases to Luke, and both features were implemented and live within hours. We are still putting the forecasting and replenishment functionality through a detailed comparison with our current system, so it is too early for us to comment on long-term performance. But the product is well thought out, and the responsiveness and willingness to understand real-world inventory requirements have been exceptional. A very promising app that is clearly being developed by someone who understands inventory management.
Thank you for such a considered write-up, including the caveat that the comparison is still running. That is the right way to judge a planning tool. Both of those workflows were clearly worth building the moment you explained them, and a catalogue with that mix of stocked, seasonal and order-on-demand products is exactly the kind of test they should face. Since our previous Shopify app will soon no longer be supported, we had to look for a replacement. This app is much better, integrates seamlessly into the Shopify admin, and offers a full range of features. The app’s developer is very easy to reach, and any issues are resolved quickly. Highly recommended for stores that want to manage their inventory within Shopify.
