I've been holding off doing a review about this api because the devil is often in the details and I want to post a review that encompasses the whole process from installation, customisation and application which I can now do. PRO's Easy to install & customise to match your store's look. You don't need to be a Dev! Very responsive & supportive customer service. 10 out of 10. Great agility. Subify have implemented several improvements & are developing more to give their users F&Bs they want to capture selling opportunities associated with subscriptions. Very proactive. CONS: Rebates instead of discounts. I was offered a discount to come on board for which I was very grateful as we're a start up needing to keep our overheads as low as possible. It wasn't explained at the outset the reduced cost offered was a rebate so the first fee was a shock. Shopify doesn't report rebates separately so my criticism was simply that discounts should be applied as reduced fees - not as rebates - so users can easily see what they're paying. That being said, after a few rounds of me grumbling about this, Subify offered me a reduced fee instead of a rebate but by then the transactions had been processed and I didn't want to circle back to uninstall the api and reinstall to make it happen. Customer correspondence. Very early in we needed to access copies of correspondence sent to our customer following the subscription set up. It came to light that Subify only keeps customers records for 30 days and this customers correspondence had aged past that date. I complained. Subify changed. They now will offer blind copying of email correspondence to the main store email account. Bottom line: Highly Recommended. Subify listens, learns, evolves. They are clearly committed to being the best. Even their Cons are Pros! Stop looking. You've found your subscription solution.
