Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry the app didn't meet your expectations. While Shopify Discounts covers basic use cases, our app provides advanced features such as automatically adding gift products based on specific products, date/time periods, customer login status, selected customers, customer tags, and many other conditions that aren't available with Shopify Discounts alone. We appreciate your suggestion about adding minimum/maximum purchase conditions and will consider it for a future update.
