TinyBackup ‑ Backups & restore

A great experience. Thanks Tom! I set up a seven-day trial with TinyBackup in no time at all and had my whole store backed up in minutes. I did have a question regarding monthly order volumes because, only in November, we peak and have an unusual volume of orders. Tom looked at our business and offered a custom price, which I really appreciated. We also use TinySeo and our experience with the installation and service was also top-notch. The app is simple, reliable, and does exactly what a backup solution should do: quietly protect your store in the background and be ready when you need it. What really stands out, however, is the support team. Every time I had a question or needed assistance, their response was incredibly fast, professional, and effective. As a store owner who pays close attention to data protection and GDPR compliance, I also appreciate the transparency of the company behind the app. The developer is based in the United Kingdom and provides clear privacy documentation together with a Data Processing Addendum (DPA). I highly recommend TinyBackup.

They went above and beyond to fix an issue on our second store, and focused so much on customer satisfaction. I am so pleased with their kind service, even though I hadn't installed the app on my second store (which I have done now and will be a loyal customer!!) they helped me restore an element on the second store which needed mapping to products. Competitive pricing and super simple dash board that anyone can use.. I needed some help after recently installing and the chat option was answered and we sorted my question straight away.. I honestly hope we do not have to use the app to much, but with Shopify and the fact we are bound to using more and more apps to add functionality problems are going to happen as they conflict and with this program we now have a quick and easy solution to help us get the store back to normal.

Great app accidentally deleted 12000 products and Tom helped me restore them back within a couple of days, if I didn't have the app a lot of hours would have been wasted.

10000% recommend! So this morning, I woke up to all of my collections having been deleted by a different app gone rogue. I was frantic and contacted shopify only to have them tell me that it was impossible to restore deleted collections. I went through and rebuilt some of them, but then thankfully remembered that I had this backup app installed. I am so very glad, because, while I could have rebuilt all of my collections, it would have taken a long time to restore all of the broken links plus shopify logs only let you go back like 250 entries, so it was hard to see all of the collections that were deleted because many of the log entries were "--app hid a collection, app hid a collection, app deleted a collection" etc. Long story short, get this app! It is a small price for peace of mind and insurance against your products and/or collections being deleted by a rogue app (by the way, the app that accidentally deleted my collections was made by a reputable company that had some sort of a glitch/issue). This backup app saved me so much time and stress. Thank you guys!! : )

Seems to do a nice job but does not include Apps backups from what I can see.

I was disappointed to find out that Shopify doesn't have a built-in backup capability. You can't even easily just FTP the files to your desktop for safe keeping! I looked around for backup apps. I went for TinyBackup because it was built for Shopify and has a free trial. TinyBackup is easy to use. I'm impressed with the fine-grained ability to restore single files. Even better, they have a diff tool so you can see the difference between the backup and your live file. This is almost like a source control system! It doesn't have versioning. It keeps the last version. But hey, that's more than I expected. I thought it would just be a whole-site backup that you had to restore, all-or-nothing style. I also like the simplicity of this app. You don't need to read any documentation. You hit the ground running. It just works and it's easy to use. It's set up to do what you need -- backup files every day. Given that the html authoring tool in Shopify is a bit dodgy, it's easy to ruin a webpage you've been working on for hours with one keystroke. I've done it! This app at least helps you get back to the starting point without losing your original copy. This is, by far, one of the best Shopify apps I've used! Well done!

This app is an absolute lifesaver! I encountered an issue that caused multiple products to be altered or deleted, but the support team was exceptional—they quickly restored everything to a previous version before the problem occurred. I can't thank them enough; every store truly needs this app. You might not realize its value until you need it, but when you do, it’s invaluable. I don’t know how I would have recovered from this mistake without it. 5 stars all the way—definitely not worth the risk of going without it!
