A/B: Product and Price Testing
The reviews for the Shopify App are overwhelmingly positive, with users praising its effectiveness in A/B testing various elements of their online stores such as checkout buttons, product photos, headlines, and pricing. Many users reported noticeable improvements in conversions and sales after using the app. They appreciated the real-time updates, user-friendly interface, and the fact that it integrates seamlessly with Shopify's infrastructure without affecting site speed. Users also highlighted the helpful customer service and the lightweight nature of the app. However, some users experienced issues such as glitches, loss of variant images, and the need for rework after using the app, leading to negative feedback and requests for refunds.
my daughter opened the account and then went back to college. I've run four tests on TridentAb since, alone, at my kitchen table. that should tell you something.
honestly expected nothing. The app settled a two-month argument between me and my business partner about the checkout button. she was right. up 9% since.
Swapped between two product photos and let it run for a couple weeks. It clearly told me which one shoppers liked more. The results updated in real time which was nice to watch.
Honestly this thing has been a huge help for our little bussiness. We ran a test on our landing page headline and the winning version bumped our orders up noticably. I was scared it would be all math and confusing but you dont need any statistics background to get it. The charts are colorful and easy to follow too. Would love if it hooked up with more email tools down the road.
As a dev I appreciate that it piggybacks on Shopify's own infrastructure instead of loading a bunch of third party scripts. Ran it through our speed tests and saw basically no difference. Solid engineering.
