A/B: Product and Price Testing
The reviews for the TridentAB Shopify App are overwhelmingly positive, with users praising its ease of use, ability to conduct A/B tests without technical knowledge, and clear reporting that helps in making data-driven decisions. Users appreciate the app's impact on site speed, the detailed reports that provide valuable insights, and the lightweight feel compared to other similar apps. However, there are a few mentions of unclear menu labels for new users and a desire for more visual guides and example test templates for beginners. Some negative reviews highlight issues with customer service responsiveness, glitches in tests, and instances where the app caused problems on the website, such as removing variant images and causing rework.
Ran a bunch of tests on my product pages this past month and my sales actually went up. worth it.
What surprised me most was how quickly I could start experimenting. I tested product descriptions, page sections, and a few pricing changes over the same month. The analytics helped me understand why certain versions performed better instead of just showing raw numbers. My store speed stayed consistent too, which I was worried about. I'd like a larger library of sample experiments, and maybe more ways to organize old test results when you have a lot running.
We've had good results using it to compare several landing page variations and product page changes. The data presentation is clean and easy to follow. I would like stronger export options for reports, and a few more customization settings for how results are displayed.
The speed impact was basically unnoticeable on my site, which mattered a lot to me. I also appreciate being able to test pricing ideas instead of relying on assumptions.
I run a small store and mostly guessed what worked before. This app gave me clear numbers to compare different product page versions, pricing ideas, and images. I also like that it didn't affect how fast my site feels. One thing I'd love is a few more example test templates for beginners.
