Hextom: Upsell Sales Boost

I LOVE all the Hexcom apps. They are easy to use and have definitely helped me to motivate folks to take action and boost sales.

We use the app, we like it, and ultimately, we recommend it, but we did have a negative experience recently: The app suddenly stopped working in the middle of a huge sale which caused a lot of confusion with our customers because the advertising and details of the sale were dependent on the app functioning correctly. The issue was fixed in 7 days, although this time could have been shorter because some of the app support emails were going to my junk folder. Ultimately, we lost a lot of revenue due to the app malfunctioning, but we still use the app and when it works, it's great. It does help increase sales, so we still recommend it, we only hope that we don't experience any more app malfunctions in the future, or that we can get any bugs fixed quicker... Perhaps Hextom would consider introducing a live chat feature in the app back-end so we can contact support quickly in emergencies?

Still exploring the app, but it seems great so far. Super excited to see if this leads to better sales

Great app...would like to see you be able to set the stock bar manually though. everything else works

It's super easy to set up and looks really good. I hope it works for boosting our sales. Might need to upgrade to get some of the extra features.

This is a nice looking app but has a couple of serious holes. First off to me its a little dishonest as it suggests complete customisable functionality that you can't really test out until you spend $9.95 for the first month no free trial. Then it really is only 70% there with features that are half baked. For instance the Get-It-By timer/message on shipping the product has no way to put in non shipping days like Bank Holidays etc which makes it not really useful. The Sales Timer only works on a per customer basis and there is no way to set it to a global fixed time which for a 24 hours daily deal is useless. Then some functionality didn't support the theme I have which again there was no way to test before you buy it. Sorry I'm uninstalling and will be reluctant to add an app again with a trial. So overall not good sorry. Edit:- Even more dishonest If I try to review this from their app page it won't let me post a 1-Star review.
