Joydeco review for Variant Option Product Options
There is an issue with the prices displayed on the cart and checkout pages. We have been contacting your support team for a week, but the issue remains unresolved, and responses have been extremely slow. This is seriously affecting our website’s conversion rate. We have tested the cart page on multiple mobile devices and frequently found that the total price includes only the base price, excluding the additional charges for customization. The same problem occurs on the checkout page. Our conversion rate has dropped significantly. We urge your support and technical teams to take this issue seriously, understand the impact from the customer’s perspective, and prioritize resolving it as soon as possible. The following review was updated on October 20, 2026, Pacific Time. Although we have exchanged numerous emails with your support team, the issues remain unresolved. The discount app we use, Dr Stacked Discounts, was recommended by your team. To avoid any impact on the cart page, we have already disabled this app, but the following problems persist: 1. Volume-based discounts are not applied correctly on the cart page. For example, if we offer a 25% discount on orders over $500, the discount cannot be applied on the cart page even when the total order value exceeds $500. After repeated testing, we found that the cart page only considers the base product price when checking whether the $500 threshold has been reached, excluding the customization charges. This is clearly incorrect, especially since the discount code works as expected on the checkout page. 2. The product price displayed below the product title on the cart page is incorrect. The price displayed is the total price for a single customized product, regardless of the quantity added to the cart. Previously, this price displayed only the base product price. We expect it to continue displaying the base price unless we decide to combine the base price and customization charges into a single price in the future. 3. Discount codes are lost when proceeding from the cart page to checkout. After applying a discount code on the cart page, the code often disappears when customers proceed to checkout. This issue occurs on most mobile devices, forcing customers to re-enter the discount code manually. Additionally, on some mobile devices, particularly Android devices, the Total displayed on the checkout page reflects only the base product price rather than the full product price, including customization charges. This is a serious pricing issue that could mislead customers and directly harm our conversion rate. These issues all persist even after we disabled Dr Stacked Discounts. We therefore urge your support and technical teams to investigate them thoroughly and take responsibility for helping us resolve them as soon as possible. If these issues can be resolved promptly and satisfactorily, I would consider removing my negative review. After all, leaving a negative review is not our goal; getting the problems fixed is. We simply want the app to work as expected so that our customers can enjoy a smooth and reliable shopping experience. We look forward to your prompt response and, more importantly, a concrete solution.
