A Total Game-Changer for Bulk Product Management! As someone managing over 2,500 products, I can confidently say that Vela is a lifesaver! Adding bulk variations to listings used to be a daunting, time-consuming task—until I discovered this app. In just two clicks, I was able to add five variations to 148 listings! The time this saved me is unbelievable. No more messing with intimidating CSV files or tedious manual updates. The interface is intuitive, and the process is seamless. Plus, their customer support is outstanding (shoutout to Justin!)—quick, responsive, and genuinely helpful when I had a question. If you're on the fence, trust me: Vela is worth its weight in gold. It’s a must-have for anyone juggling a large inventory. Love it!

What can I say? This software is hands down my favorite among all the tools I use. With multiple stores across various platforms and over 500 listings, Vela has been a game-changer. It has saved me countless hours—if not weeks—by allowing me to make bulk changes across all my stores, instead of painstakingly editing each listing one by one on different platforms. Justin (the CEO) and his incredible team have truly been a lifesaver. I can’t imagine running my business without this software. I wholeheartedly recommend it to the 1,000+ students I teach every single week!

I've used Vela for years, and it saves so much time. They regularly add new features, and the creators are just a message away, and still very hands-on. Amazing app and such a time saver, packs in loads of handy features.

Wow! I have only been using this app for a few days but can already see it will be a game-changer for me..!! So many hours saved, so many cool functionalities and such great customer support. After speaking directly with one of the creators, Justin in customer support, I understand there's heaps more cool stuff coming. Love these guys...!!

I loved using Vela to transfer over my listings from Etsy over to Shopify! Followed the videos found on the website. Super efficient. Not only that, but when I had an issue, I contacted Vela via email to resolve the glitch in the transfer, and the customer service team was quick to fix it! Thank you Vela!!

Original Review: 4 Stars Vela is great for quickly uploading new products. We do weekly drops and this has made life way easier. Really happy we made the switch. Knocked off one star because one feature was missing that is crucial to our workflow: the ability to schedule product launches. At the time, this added an extra multi-step process to every drop. Support said scheduling was coming soon, and once added, I planned to update my review to 5 stars. Updated Review: 2 Stars After using the new scheduling feature for three weeks, we experienced enough issues with support to lower this to 2 stars. Vela still helps speed up product creation, and when it works, the time savings are real. But the scheduling and profile systems caused real problems for our team. Support consistently pointed to user error, even when the workflows were unclear or lacked basic safeguards. Week 1: Products posted at $0.00 We scheduled a product launch using the new feature. Items did not go live on time, and when they finally did, the prices were set to $0.00. We accidentally sold over 40 items for free before catching the issue. Support said this happened because our shop had not been refreshed recently. During the drop, they then auto-refreshed the shop, which temporarily locked us out of the system while customers were live on our site. Week 2: Quantities zeroed out Even with the shop fully synced, the next drop still had problems. Items went live a few minutes late, and this time the inventory for each product was set to zero. Everything appeared sold out until we manually re-added the correct quantities while the drop was active. Week 3 – Listings deleted after canceling schedule After the first two weeks, we had decided to avoid using scheduling altogether. However, one of our employees accidentally scheduled 20 new items. I followed the chatbot’s instructions to cancel the scheduled listings, assuming they would return to draft status. Instead, 18 out of 20 listings were deleted entirely with no warning or fallback. When I reached out to support, they explained: “Since I assume these were newly created listings there was no status to save them in after canceling the publication. So when it goes direct from new listing -> scheduled there is no fallback to draft.” They also told me: “You scheduled multiple different operations to take place at the exact same time or within a couple minutes of each other, which as I've explained is NOT allowed.” Apparently, the correct method is to use one bulk publish operation, rather than scheduling items individually. That may be technically correct, but none of this was clear in the UI. There was no warning, no explanation at the time, and no way to recover the work once the mistake was made. Rather than acknowledging that the system might need a confirmation prompt or better guidance, support placed the blame entirely on how we were using it. Prior issue: Profiles overwriting live listings A few months earlier, we had another issue that also impacted our rating. I made some small formatting edits to a product profile, expecting those changes to apply only to future listings. Instead, those changes were immediately applied to over 80 existing live products. Product descriptions were replaced, photos were removed, and unique listing details were wiped out with no warning. Because we only use Vela for creating new product listings, not for editing existing live ones, this came as a complete surprise. There was no clear indication that editing a profile would push changes to live products, and no option to preview or undo. When we brought it up, support explained: “When you apply a profile, whatever attributes are included in that profile are applied to the listings connected to the profile as expected.” They added: “You should only include attributes in the profile that you want to unify and have applied across all the connected listings.” “This is working as intended.” That may be true from a technical standpoint, but in practice it led to serious problems. Our use case was basically dismissed, and the damage to our listings took hours to fix. A confirmation screen or clearer labeling would have prevented the issue entirely. Summary: Vela is a helpful tool in a lot of ways. It has sped up our workflow when creating new products, and the base functionality is solid. But both the scheduling system and profile editor are easy to misuse, and the consequences can be irreversible. Support may be technically correct in how the platform is designed, but that does not mean it is intuitive or safe to use without deeper training. Whether these problems were user error or not, the product did not do enough to prevent them. We hope to see improvements and would be happy to update this review if changes are made.

This app is the best way I've found to get into and edit backend information for both Shopify and Etsy. It's also easy to move listings from one platform to the other! And now that they are coming out with importable updates, changing prices will be easier than ever. I also love the timed update feature, I use this quite often to put things on sale - and then to take things off sale again. No more forgetting!

I really enjoyed using the app but the price changes were far too expensive for me. When the only tools I need are to sync listings from Etsy to Shopify, 50USD a month is staggering. Especially considering I only add around 30 listings each month... I wish there was an option for limited features. I don't need AI generation or social share, I simply need to copy listings from one platform to another. I don't need to sync inventories between the two platforms. Again, I simply needed to copy one listing from one platform to another. I'll be back if the pricing structure ever changes.

FIVE STARS...I have had this app for a very long time, the creator is passionate and progressive (always adding new features), customer service is lightening fast and it does what it says it will. Makes editing and getting a look at all your listings at once really easy. Super grateful, buy back your time!

I recently opened a Shopify store & used Vela to transport all my products over from my Etsy shop. Super easy to use, made it all so quick. Massively thankful for this app. AI suggestions were helpful to improve all my product descriptions in the transfer between shops. Still using it, it makes bulk editing products much easier than in Shopify, and now using it to clean up & improve all my photos. Definitely gets 5 stars from me & well worth the money I paid for it. Had 2 things I needed to ask customer support about, and both times their replies were fast & helpful. Looking forward to them adding Ebay intergration soon.

Fantastic tool for managing and updating our Shopify products. This app has saved us countless hours in writing great descriptions, tagging and optimizing all our listing. The AI integration is fantastic. Highly recommend this app at a very reasonable price. Support to get you up and running has been extremely responsive. The app is very intuitive but I had some question and the support team answered very quickly and was very helpful!

This is an indispensible time-saver, with world-class support. I got Vela about a year ago to manage my Etsy store, and then migrating all my listings to open a Shopify store (100+ products) took less than 5 minutes. Absolutely worth the tiny amount they charge -- I'm glad they're keeping this app affordable. I couldn't recommend Vela more. Get it.

I like being able to edit my listings in Vela, over doing it on etsy and shopify. Vela allows me to copy over my listings from Etsy to Shopify and edit them before uploading at my pace. I appreciate the speed that this app has gained over the years I've used it. I've been using it for many years to edit my etsy listings in ways etsy doesn't allow and it made sense to use them for my shopify too.

I sell on Etsy as well as Shopify. Transferring my products from my Etsy store to my Shopify store via Vela has been smooth and easy! I've been able to learn on my own how to do everything, and if I can't figure it out, there's plenty of Youtube videos out there, and the Vela team always responds to my questions via chat. They walk me through all the steps, until I understand. If you are an Etsy seller, this app is a must!

I love the Vela app because, in my opinion, it's the ONLY way to manage multiple listings in one store, or even across multiple channels. My favorite is the "Profile" and the "Bulk Edit" functions. And the genius way to link product photos to variations is the biggest time saver for me. Each of my listings has seven material options and a range of 3-15 size options. Updating these manually would be impossible and an ineffective use of my time. The best part about the bulk edit and photo linking is how I can scan down the photos and variations inventory to double-check that all have linked photos. The variations that still need a photo link have 100% transparency and stand out from those already connected (which have a degree of opacity). Very helpful! Another significant aspect of Vela is the customer support. Every time I have reached out for help in the Chat, Justin responds immediately! You can't beat that! Thank you, Justin!
