Overly complicated to setup, overpriced, the base $49 plan really doesn't get you much...so your next option is $199. I'm sure it's a good app, but it's ridiculously complicated and for the money, their are far better options.

We ran a small giveaway and couldn’t have asked for a better app. Setup was flawless, the support team was awesome, and everything worked exactly the way we needed it to. If you’re running any kind of giveaway, this is the app to use.

- Integrates very poorly with Shopify. - Web app is a bit glitchy when trying to edit/preview changes - Certain ViralSweep features that are advertised as being part of a plan are not actually full supported by Shopify and cannot be used. I read the (already extremely complicated) marketing documentation in advance to figure out what ViralSweep platform could/couldn't do. I then paid for a subscription, which I am fairly selective about and don't do often. My intention was to setup an enter to win campaign on my site with no purchase necessary. I spent several hours in ViralSweep designing and configuring this. I then went to install/embed it into my store, (a pretty basic thing that I would expect to be supported by an app like this that is in the Shopify app store). Unfortunately, my entry form/promo failed to show up in my theme despite a number of different approaches. I was told that promotions that don't require a purchase cannot be embedded into your theme. I have to say, this was a pretty disappointing experience. I'm generally wary about apps that are not "built for Shopify" and this is the exact reason. I would suggest contacting them to confirm your exact use case is supported before you subscribe. If not, just look somewhere else.
