Beauty Gables review for CedCommerce Walmart Connector
We tried the Walmart Connector on the Premium plan to move a catalog of about 6,000 SKUs across roughly 50 Walmart categories. It may work for smaller catalogs, but it was not ready for ours. Mapping is the main problem. Key WFS fields like Label Image (required when “Product is or contains a chemical” is Yes) cannot be mapped to a Shopify field or metafield. They only take one manual value per profile. With 300+ SKUs per profile, each with its own label URL, the only workaround is a profile per SKU, which is impossible at scale. Profile conditions also only filter by native Shopify fields, not metafields. Global values, once applied, could not be cleared. For a seller that creates many new items on Walmart, that is a real risk to listing data. Sync was unreliable. Our Shopify product import stayed stuck at 1.72% for two days, which left 264 Walmart items under “Not In App” even though they exist in Shopify with the exact same SKU. We also saw errors across several fields. Support was polite but did not solve the core issues. Features like using the Walmart order number as the Shopify order name are only available as paid custom development. The billing experience was the worst part. We paid $299 for a customization with a 3-day delivery time. One day later, after finding the problems above, we asked them to stop the project. They refused a refund, said the work was already deployed, and replied twice with the same copy-paste message that ignored our points. If you run a large catalog with many categories and need per-SKU attributes for WFS, test thoroughly with your own SKUs before paying for anything extra.
