If you’re looking for an all-in-one wholesale solution for Shopify, look no further than YMQ B2B & Wholesale Solution. From my experience: the app works exactly as promised. It allows you to designate customers for wholesale access, hide or show different pricing, apply bulk or quantity-based discounts, enforce minimum and incremental orders, and even manage tax/VAT rules. Before this app, we were either lacking wholesale functionality or paying far too much for apps that did only half the job. This truly covers the full spectrum of wholesale requirements while keeping things within our existing store. Additionally, the support staff are friendly, professional and quick to respond. In our first month with the app, we saw our average wholesale order size increase and our internal admin burden go down. For anyone seeking a scalable, professional wholesale setup on Shopify, this is a standout option.

We installed this app to manage B2B pricing on a Shopify store selling across Europe. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with discount recalculation during checkout. The app applies B2B pricing using a discount. The discount is calculated correctly at first, but when Shopify updates the product price during checkout (for example when the customer changes the shipping country or enters a valid EU VAT number), the discount does not recalculate. As a result, the final price becomes incorrect. Example: France → product price 26.90 €, discounted price 7.68 €. Customer changes country to Portugal → Shopify updates the product price to 27.58 €, but the discount remains based on the original price. The developer confirmed the issue but said they do not plan to fix it. Because of this, the app is not reliable for EU stores using Shopify Markets, VAT changes, or VAT-exempt B2B customers.

Recently, most of our development resources have been focused on building our upcoming **B2B V2 version**, which is designed to make the system more flexible, powerful, and easier for merchants to configure complex pricing logic. Because of this, our response time may not have been as fast as usual. Regarding the issue you described, the current behavior is related to how B2B pricing is typically implemented on Shopify. Our app applies B2B pricing using draft orders. Once the draft order is created and the customer enters the Shopify checkout, third-party apps are no longer able to execute code or modify pricing. If the customer changes the shipping country or VAT status during checkout, Shopify may update the product price based on Markets or tax rules, but apps cannot recalculate discounts at that stage. It is also worth mentioning that the majority of B2B apps on Shopify rely on draft orders in a similar way, which means they are subject to the same platform limitations. The only potential technical direction to address this type of issue would involve using **Shopify Functions** provided by Shopify. However, Shopify Functions currently have strict limitations on input and output size, execution time, and overall computational complexity. Because of these constraints, we cannot yet confidently confirm whether a stable solution is feasible for this scenario. What we can say is that as part of our ongoing V2 development, we will continue to evaluate whether there might be a viable approach to handle cases like this in the future. This is not a situation where we simply do not want to fix the problem. When building on top of the Shopify platform, some capabilities are constrained by the APIs and infrastructure that Shopify provides. I cannot say enough good things about YMQ B2B & Wholesale Solution. Our wholesale channel used to be cumbersome: manual pricing spreadsheets, customer lists, and special orders. With this app, we created a wholesale registration form, auto-tagged approved customers, set wholesale pricing and quantity rules automatically, and streamlined the process end-to-end. Our turnover of wholesale orders has grown significantly because the process feels professional to the customer and manageable for us internally. On top of that, the actual setup was intuitive and the UI is clean. Whenever we have had questions, the support team was quick to respond and very helpful—whether it was a minor UI tweak or a more complex scenario. I would absolutely recommend this to other Shopify merchants looking to simplify wholesale operations.

Titre : Une perte de temps – à éviter absolument J’ai testé YMQ pour gérer un formulaire B2B et c’est une catastrophe. L’interface semble prometteuse, mais rien ne fonctionne correctement : le formulaire de création de compte grossiste est instable, un jour il fonctionne, le lendemain plus rien. Les décalages sur mobile rendent la mise en page inutilisable, ce qui est inacceptable pour un site pro. C’est sans doute gratuit pour une raison : ce n’est pas fiable du tout. Je déconseille totalement cette application si vous cherchez un outil sérieux pour le B2B sur Shopify.

Ymq B2B is a fantastic app. It has all the features and functionality needed for my online store. Their support team is responsive and helpful. I definitely recommend using Ymq B2B.

Very good app to handle the B2B business. Fast and helpful support, too. One star missing because the discount feature could not be used in our case. But all in all very easy to use.

I'm really impressed with this app. It helps you offer wholesale discounts with your existing catalog. The support is also quick and fast. I have used other Ymq apps and they are great as well.

A highly useful app to enable special prices, discounts, or hidden products based on customer tags. Works well, for a free product, however documentation and instructions aren't the best. Support is quick within operating hours but only available via mail and it's not always clear what's happening. No information about theme compatibility and no ability for user to update or change versions when updating theme. They are also changing to a subscription model
