Zapier is a wonderful service. I am an automation junkie and Zapier saves me sooooo much time. If you aren't using this service you are wasting hours of your life on eCommerce tasks that could be automated. There support staff is wonderful as well...they have helped me figure out new solutions for Zaps that I couldn't figure out myself. I love Zapier.

Zapier is an amazing tool. Their support is also quite incredible. When you have those moments of frustration with native integrations, Zapier comes to the rescue. In our case, that means automatically adding new Shopify contacts to Zendesk. We also use it to drive facebook leads to mailchimp for lead generation campaigns.

Theoretically everything 'works' but it doesn't actually accomplish the task you need it to. They advertised a big Edgar + Instagram connection. I tried it. Instead of grabbing the picture, it just grabs a link to the Instagram picture. So it 'worked' but I can't use that. I can't post a link to facebook saying "click this link to see this picture" It should actually BE the picture. After setting everything up, I couldn't find a ZAP that actually worked and made a difference, uninstalled

Zapier is the best app ever! Not only useful for Shopify but for any other platform. They have completely changed the way we work our social medias, leads, sales, etc. It almost becomes an addiction to try to automate everything, we are hooked!

Zapier is a great app. You'll need to make a bit of manual setup at first but once it get going, it can replace an low level employee that would be doing a lot of manual entry. So this is worth the money. There are limitations but over all it's worth it if you find yourself wasting time or paying someone else for this kind of work. On my end, I use it to add all my orders and details in a clean Google Sheet which automatically updates itself (something I would do manually before). Now that I'm getting a lot more orders this saves me so much time and money. There are tons of other things it can do that you'll have to figure out or even create your own. I think this app is a must if you start having a few orders per day and need to automate basic data entry.

The connection is great and really helpful. I would really love it though if the trigger actions could also be dependent on specific "TAGS" on products or customers as opposed to everything or triggered by inventory count. Sometimes my company just wants to pull certain customer types or certain products. It would definitely be helpful to have a trigger action kick off when a product reaches a certain inventory level. Right now we have to search, export then filter with both Shopify and the available trigger actions between Shopify and Zapier. So opening up additional more specific triggers would be incredibly helpful!!

I installed this to integrate new orders with google sheets (create new google sheet line for every order). For many Shopify owners this could be the "holy grail" app integration as different departments and managers could be notified separately if different products were ordered and they could access a separate google sheets for a single SKU (or group) using a filter. The notification and reporting power of this is huge let alone the ability to drop shop for a separate sku as this would allow you to create a filter for product "Engraved widget" and every time the engraved widget ordered zapier would email the engraver and create a separate google docs. When the order is finished the engraver updates the google docs. So powerful and while so many apps do some of this the cost of third party apps to accomplish what this Zapier/ google sheet integration could possibly do is prohibitive to most. And while the integration works it GROUPS all the line items into a single row. So if a customer ordered 5 different products all the line items are grouped in a single line - worthless. Zapier has the BEST interface of any of these types of companies and their brand is slick and support normally friendly and responsive. Reason for this 2 star is the response from support on Google doc integration. "This integration isn't high on our list to add right now" Visionary company with not a very visionary method to prioritize. Not expecting support to understand every shopowner needs but at least ask about the "end game" on the need when making the priority list.

A good, albeit a bit pricy for a small store, solution to automatise some tasks. We use it to export Shopify orders to a google spreadsheet for simple accounting, tweet new products and add new email addresses to Mailchimp. When Zapier will have support for Etsy then it will really kick ass. :)
