Still trying to charge me after multiple times contacting them because they charged me Fter cancelling during free trial, don’t try the free trial
Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and I’m genuinely sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced. I want to clarify a few details, just to make sure everything is fully transparent and accurately reflected. First, we did receive your message on Sunday, December 7th , and we replied to you just a couple of hours later the very same day, explaining how Shopify’s billing system works. Unfortunately, the email address you used to contact us was unable to receive incoming mail - all our replies bounced with the error: “the address couldn’t be found or is unable to receive mail.” Because of this, none of our responses reached you. Since we didn’t want to leave you without an answer, I reached out to you directly through the contact form on your website the same day, explained everything again, and that message finally went through. From there, we were able to connect, clarify the situation, and confirm that there were no actual charges processed for our app on your store - and that if anything appeared later, we would refund it. Regarding the trial: our app includes a 14-day free trial, but according to your own review, you used the app for 24 days (which Shopify also shows on the review). That’s why Shopify attempted to add the subscription to your next billing cycle - it happens automatically once the trial period is over. App developers cannot charge merchants directly; all billing is handled by Shopify. We always try our best to be transparent and helpful, and I truly regret that your experience felt confusing or stressful at any point.
