CherryTree Inc review for Blockify Fraud Filter, Blocker

I got this app specifically for our increasing bot traffic. The reviews looked amazing so I installed it. On the 5th day I still got bot traffic and started cross-referencing bot orders vs activity log on this app and they didn't even show up. What happened next completely stunned me. Their support team actually ADMITTED IT DIDN'T WORK!!! Here's the message from them: "Hi there, This is Joyce from the Blockify support team.. Thanks again for your patience while we looked into the orders you mentioned. After checking with our technical team, we found that the app still receives and processes most visitor data as usual. However, in rare cases, it’s possible that: The buyer went directly to the checkout page, bypassing the storefront, which prevents our app from capturing the initial IP and browsing session. The buyer was using tools (like VPNs, proxies, or privacy-focused browsers) that changed their IP address during the journey — for example, from landing on the store to completing the checkout. This can result in the session being incomplete or invisible in the Visitor Analytics. We totally understand how frustrating this may be, especially when you’re relying on this data to block unwanted orders. Our product team is now aware of the concern and is reviewing how we can make the tracking more transparent.
