CatalogAce does what it says on the tin. Catalog took an afternoon instead of a fortnight. No complaints from me.

Reorders from existing stockists went up noticeably once buyers had something they could actually browse instead of a bare spreadsheet. Barcodes on the line sheet help our warehouse pull orders faster, thats been a quiet win. Two gaps for us: no second language option, and our printer complained about the bleed settings on the export.

I build stores for clients and normally i get pinged every time a price changes. Handed this over and they update the thing themselves now. Dropping it straight onto a store page was painless too.

Bit of context, we carry about 900 skus so i assumed the import would choke. It didnt, variants and sizes all came through in the right order and i only fixed maybe six of them. Sorting by colection meant i could split the mens and womens books without building two seperate things from scratch. Also handing a rep a link beats emailing a 40mb attachment. Big files load slow in the editor though.

Twenty years we mailed paper price lists. Grandson showed me this. Same job, done in an hour, and i can send it by email now. Thats progress i suppose.

honestly i have zero design ability, my sister does all our instagram stuff. Picked one of the ready made layouts, swapped the photos and it looked like something a real studio made. We stuck the flippy version on our site and customers play with it. Editing on a phone is basically impossible though.

Paid for a Month, Lost Access Immediately After Canceling Renewal I’m very disappointed with how this subscription was handled. I purchased a one-month paid subscription and later downgraded/canceled specifically to prevent it from renewing for another month. I had already paid for the current billing period, so I expected to keep access to the paid features until that period ended. Instead, my paid subscription benefits were removed immediately after canceling the renewal. I contacted the app developer, and they told me to contact Shopify Support. Shopify then directed me back to the app developer, leaving me stuck between the two without access to a period I had already paid for. If canceling a renewal also means immediately losing access to the remaining paid period, this should be made extremely clear before customers cancel. I would strongly recommend clarifying the subscription terms and providing either continued access through the paid period or a refund for the unused time.

I manage ops for a small apparel label and we put out four seasonal books a year, so this got tested properly. Dragging blocks around is fast once you stop fighting it. Old seasons stay in the cloud so nobody hunts through Drive anymore. Tax rules per region saved my accountant a headache. The tracking showing who opened what is the part i didnt expect to like. Bulk editing descriptions would help, and let us duplicate a book.

Took the printed version to a trade show in march. Nobody could tell it wasnt done by a designer. The qr codes on each page actually scanned first try which i half expected to fail.

Our buyers used to email me spreadsheets and i would retype everything into Word like an animal. Now the products come across from the store already priced, and my wholesale tiers show the right numbers for each account. Buyers place orders in the file itself which still feels strange to me. More template choices would help.

Overall a good fit for what I needed. I like that I can rearrange the product order and bend the layout to match how my brand looks. Couple of things would make it better, a cheaper entry tier for tiny shops like mine, and the ability to make edits from my phone when Im away from the desk

I needed something that didnt look amateur. Bringing my whole product list over was one click, no fiddling. The finished catalog looks polished enough to put in front of galleries. If it could plug into my email newsletter tool that would be the cherry on top

Run a small apparel label and line sheets used to eat my whole week. Now they live in the cloud ready whenever a stockist asks and I just pull the latest one and send it over

I run a little home goods shop and pulling all my products in with a single click saved me hours. turning the pages into a clean pdf was the part that sold me, and storing everything in the cloud means i just send a link. Only thing id ask for is a few more template choices

The conversion tracking is something I wasnt expecting to find useful but now I check it every week. Combined with how fast you can spin up a new catalog it's become a real part of our wholesale workflow.

Honestly this thing has been a game changer for our small brand. We do a lot of B2B and sending over PDF price lists manualy was eating up way too much of my time. The tempaltes actually look good which is rare for apps like this in my experience. The embeddable catalog is something I showed to a retail buyer last week and she was genuinely impressed. One thing I'd love is a way to set different price tiers per catalog without having to duplicate everything and rebuilding the layout. That would really put it over the top for us.
