ok so i avoided making a wholesale catalog for like a full year because it sounded miserable. Catalogace took me one evening. dragged things around, exported, sent it. genuinely annoyed at myself for putting it off
Not expected the glitches i face in this app. 404 error in the cataloge page is very frustrating.
Long-winded, sorry. We're a three-person operation selling stationery into independent bookshops, and for six years our "line sheet" was a Word document I updated by hand and inevitably got wrong. Prices from last spring would survive into autumn. A buyer would order at a price we no longer honoured and then we'd have an awkward phone call. CatalogAce killed that whole problem because the sheet is built off the store, so when I change a price in one place it's changed. The order-from-the-catalog thing I thought was a gimmick. It is not a gimmick. Half our winter orders came in that way.
