Catalog PDF Maker ‑ AceCatalog
The reviews for this Shopify App are quite mixed, with a combination of positive and negative feedback. On the positive side, users appreciate the professional look of the catalogs, the reliability of QR code scanning, and the ability for customers to place orders directly from the catalog, saving time and streamlining the process. The cloud storage feature is also praised for keeping versions organized. Users find the app helpful for creating PDF catalogs quickly and efficiently, especially for wholesale purposes. However, there are some common requests for improvements such as a bulk edit mode for pricing, a wider range of fonts for better customization, more template choices, and the ability to set different price tiers per catalog without duplication. On the negative side, some users have experienced issues with the app's performance, especially when dealing with a large number of products, leading to frustration and difficulties in creating catalogs.
Our buyers used to email me spreadsheets and i would retype everything into Word like an animal. Now the products come across from the store already priced, and my wholesale tiers show the right numbers for each account. Buyers place orders in the file itself which still feels strange to me. More template choices would help.
Made a 40 page linesheet on a train ride. thats the whole review
Overall a good fit for what I needed. I like that I can rearrange the product order and bend the layout to match how my brand looks. Couple of things would make it better, a cheaper entry tier for tiny shops like mine, and the ability to make edits from my phone when Im away from the desk
I needed something that didnt look amateur. Bringing my whole product list over was one click, no fiddling. The finished catalog looks polished enough to put in front of galleries. If it could plug into my email newsletter tool that would be the cherry on top
Run a small apparel label and line sheets used to eat my whole week. Now they live in the cloud ready whenever a stockist asks and I just pull the latest one and send it over
