CatalogAce does what it says on the tin. Catalog took an afternoon instead of a fortnight. No complaints from me.
Reorders from existing stockists went up noticeably once buyers had something they could actually browse instead of a bare spreadsheet. Barcodes on the line sheet help our warehouse pull orders faster, thats been a quiet win. Two gaps for us: no second language option, and our printer complained about the bleed settings on the export.
I build stores for clients and normally i get pinged every time a price changes. Handed this over and they update the thing themselves now. Dropping it straight onto a store page was painless too.
Bit of context, we carry about 900 skus so i assumed the import would choke. It didnt, variants and sizes all came through in the right order and i only fixed maybe six of them. Sorting by colection meant i could split the mens and womens books without building two seperate things from scratch. Also handing a rep a link beats emailing a 40mb attachment. Big files load slow in the editor though.
Twenty years we mailed paper price lists. Grandson showed me this. Same job, done in an hour, and i can send it by email now. Thats progress i suppose.
